My siblings and I used to get kites on Easter when we were kids.
I always put kites in my sons baskets. I tried once giving them all roller skates,
never again. I ended up skating by myself. They did run next to me. Thanks for

Easter was the most favorite Holiday in my book. Good to Easter service, the Beautiful Pasteles dresses, and yes the egg' hunt. My mother only did that a couple of times. Last year was our 1st one without. Almost 27 yeas of Easter ❣️❣️❣️🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰🎉👛🧺🥚🥚🥚🩷💛🩵💜🤍💕

My children are adults now but I remember how fun it was putting together Easter baskets. One year I forgot to make the baskets, my daughter was thrilled, she thought I had hidden their baskets. Oh, oh! Mama boo-boo! I felt awful at the time but now it is a funny memory. Another fun video, thanks.
My mom has actually forgotten WHERE she hid some of our baskets!😮 Five kids + several foster kids+ 1 cousin. Especially bad since we dyed real hard boiled eggs!🙀 After that, she made a list where each/who’s basket was hidden.
Great video as always.😊 I miss when my grandkids were little but I still make them easter baskets. They are preteens and teenagers. I still make my adult son's easter gifts and there partners. They love it makes them feel like they are still special. I put Dairy Queen and burger joint gift cards in my easter basket

Hello, FYI - the Surprise Egg's are large hallow chocolate egg filled with the variety of chocolates inside. These are given throughout Europe on Easter day. :) Delicious.

When I was a kid, I hated chocolate. So, the "Easter Bunny" would give me a stuffed animal. Which I liked much better anyway! Weird child that I was, I didn't start even trying chocolate until I was 12. LOL! Talk about late bloomer! LOL!!!

Surprisingly, I was not a chocolate fan as a kid either. I really liked the fruit flavored candies. Clearly, my taste buds have changed dramatically! 😂❤️

As kids, did ya‘ll use the robin eggs/malted milk balls to make colored lipstick?🥴 Just lick the hard candy coating & spread over lips! It was so fun.😉

It depends on what it is. I like lots of stores. Each one has their own reasoning. 😊
The only sweet that I would eat were Russell Stover solid white bunnies. My mother would put toys and crafts in my basket. And I never would hunt for eggs because they were hard boiled eggs yuck!! My generation didn’t have the plastic eggs. But Easter was really about going to church and having a nice lamb dinner together.

Sometimes, yes. Nearly everything I bought at Aldi was cheaper than Walmart - at least this time. 😊
Im from the Philippines and this is not in our tradition to give gifts/easter baskets to children on resurrection day. how did this start?
I’m not sure how that got started. I think when there’s big celebrations people start giving little gifts and then it just goes from there.
I love aldi's but even their prices are getting out of my range...
My son (age41 now) has never liked sweets of any kind. His Easter basket had beef jerky and Taco Bell gift cards. I was watching this and thinking about what the kids liked in their basket and I had to laugh at the thought of no candy for my son. The daughters loved candy so I still bought plenty.
