most definitely entertaining, nice work. something is really cool about how far these trucks tilt the carts at the top of the cycle....I like seeing the bottoms/tops of them almost parallel with the ground. is it possible that these trailers came from the 320 Starr(s) they owned?

Definitely have to agree there. No idea on the trailers. I highly doubt any of this truck is actually new, just everything refurbished from Alliance. The arms for sure of course, and the trailers. One of which might be from their old 320(s) and rest from Alliance, or they're all from Alliance and they keep one as a spare. I don't know, but yeah. Thanks for the comment!

Very unique truck you have here! Think it might be the first footage of one on RUclips! Also very rare to see this type of Peterbilt on a refuse truck chassis. I really enjoy seeing Starr Systems mainly because they can whip thru coldesacs in no time at all. Great video! Does this city have a recycling program?

Yeah first footage of this combo, and extra uniqueness is added from it being a new truck but an older style arm (refurbished). This isn't in a city, it's a county island. I believe Republic offers weekly recycling, and AZ Sanitation offers twice monthly. The Sheriff's Posse also has a drop-off recycling set up.

These trucks are beautiful! I love a Starr in general, but these are just as awesome with the colours and stereotypical non-COE chassis you might put with a semi =] Question I've been meaning to ask about the Starr, what makes the arm sort of "lean" over to the hopper during the dump? Is there like an actuator or does actual arm design result in the movement? Cool spot to video the truck turning around at 5:15, shows the benefit of the truck not being a rigid. Enjoyed the cul-de-sac shots too showing the truck from both the road and street side. I hate when residents move the bins like at 2:10 and 2:51, because half the time their efforts are pointless and/or they pose a hazard to themselves being too close to the lifter. Great job on the video, I'm shooting this one straight to the favourites!

MitchellM15 Can't say I really know too much about how the Starr arm leans, Scott or Mike would definitely be better people to ask about that. Thanks for the comment, glad you enjoyed it!
