That lion spot by B flag is great
For 5 seconds before you get shitted on from 10 different angles
The spawn trap on C is absolute cancer.

The problem with this map is that it's really easy for a couple of snipers to lock down the two main lanes and make it difficult to move around the map. The camping spots are so far back on the map, you can't really get around behind them and flush them out. Some games are great on this map but if you get just 2 or even 3 campers here, it shuts down the entire flow of the game.
People at back of A, they said no 3 lane maps, but there are and this one is a 2 lane map, even worse
There's at least 12 campers in every game I play.
Feels weird seeing these for this game now since all I play is Shoot House.

As much as people on CoD have been literally MAKING FUN OF ME for saying this...
The devs are trying to push the importance of strategy. Running around for KD and not helping your team isn't gonna work for this site.
Solo takes are risky at best.
Solution is simple. Coordinate. Take control of both buildings windows and then take B. It works every time I call out the strat and the team actually wants to work together.

@@HTG.Tempest I agree with what you are saying but taking a flag should not mean that your entire team has to converge into one map location leaving the rest of the map open is not ideal and it opens you up to getting hammered by a cluster strike, chopper or some other kill streak.
Your overall point is valid. Strategy is key to this game and running around like a whirling dervish is not a winning strategy if you are playing for objectives.
I love this map, but this map is campers paradise!😒

There is also a spawn on the lower part by the river that you missed. I know I've spawned there before many times.

0:50 This is a great spot, I usually avoid both the left and right and hit through the centre of the hazmat, out the side window working my my way to those camp spots. Avoiding the market through the trains and around to the back.
2:45 I'm so going to try that would be great to sneak some people!
3:10 I loved to stand here on FFA and wait to hear someone run out the doors and chase them for an execution.

5:40 Yeah this is very true with this spot I sometimes find people prone up there and I sneak to them just for an easy head shot haha. Also people sometimes spawn just at the back near there after and you can get easy spawn kills.
Petrograd is probably my favorite. You can also get in top of the bar if you go left from the car and hop on top of the dumpster ;)

ever since I've seen this series I've been seeing more LOS' and not getting sniped as often.. helps a lot for my experience in my first CoD game. thanks
I hated this map at launch but it's really grown on me.
The thing I love about this map compared to others is that I feel I'm able to play with any weapon type, Sniping, Shotgun, AR, SMG, pistols. I feel it is at your disgression.
Best line of sight on this map is to exit the lobby when it appears.

I feel like the map is good but the train side has too many lines of sights. I think they tried to fix this with putting the trains there but imho it just made it worse
Yeah, it's the same issue as Piccadilly, a high number of very narrow sightlines.
@@BleedingUranium you're totally right. In general I feel like they designed the main spawn areas and then just dropped some containers/busses/trains/... in between
I think most of the maps don't play too well because there aren't any "main places" (areas where most people try to get to and where you will find enemies pretty much always)
It's more like running around the maps (which are often way too big for 6v6) and eventually running into someone sitting in a corner
I think the lighting on this map is especially atrocious. It's so greyed out that in the shadows you can miss people right in front of you. Your peripheral vision doesnt even register that they're there. I'm curious to how much better this map would be at noon on a sunny day.

I’m so used to not being able to jump on crates with the past maps being so restrictive that I usually don’t even bother and end up dying to someone who does do it
This map is right after Picadilly and Euphrate Bridge on my "worst map list". It's just so campy...
3:13 is an amazing example of why CoD needs the headglitch fix that Battlefield games have had for years, with bullets spawning *below* your camera, not straight out of it. That, along with +1 bullet in the chamber for tac reloads would be wonderful.

@TheXclusiveAce: Did you notice all the way back at the c flag, that you can jump from the two benches to that wall on the right. So you stand right above that farest ambulance. It's a great surprise, if people try to pin you down at c from the trains.
7:09 that spawn in the top left corner seems to be very popular in a real match, I oftentimes go at least a solid minute or two getting spawned only at that location despite all the action is happening at B, and I'd have to run so much farther just to get to the enemies. I absolutely hate that spawn point now.

Reverse ambulance hop at C spawn. Use the bench, then jump and mantle the wall next to the ambulance. Useful for getting those ambulance corner campers. Also good for breaking C spawn trap. Most people don't look up there for C spawn
Tmartn used to do nade spots for dom mostly. Would like to see that added if you could.

Maps don’t make campers, shitty spawns do. I get shot in the back more in this cod than any other. They need to rework the code so if there’s an enemy nearby that spawn point isn’t available.
Fix C, you can have the entire enemy team on the other side of that wall and you won’t spawn anywhere else.
would be awesome to see a video about the FAL assault rifle, don't see many people use it, but it's a great gun

This whole map is pain. Just pain.
The only one map which I hate, I had same feeling with Azir Cave but now it's fine for me. This map's got many camps, sniper spots, open areas, I don't like it ;P
@@aresek100 loool saaame, in Azhir I just roll with a sniper or mk2 and one tap them from their hiding spots. You can't do that in St Pt cuz everything deep inside the buildings. The amount of times I've quit just because one douche is sitting on the top floor, crouched in a corner...
st petrograd nearly had the potential to be hackney yard level but the b spot and the 2 main opposite buildings enforce a really slow play style which as you said when the teams are aggressive it plays well. this map went from a favourite to 2nd worse. absolutely vile how players adopted this map.
piccadilly isn’t even a bad map compared to this imo

Only time I use the line of sights are on search and destroy or cyber attack that’s it. It’s very helpful
Lines of sight on Petrograd: sit in corners with claymores, so lines of sight are irrelevant.
You missed the 2nd floor from A flag around to the canal entrance to the restaurant. If you're playing dom, expect someone up there, also a good counter to pool hall rooftop.
Spawn trapping C is a legit thing but other than that I love this map, especially on Search & Destroy it just feels good to play with many medium range engagements

Its my fav map so far
If you stop the video at 7:27 and look at the brown building, you can see a little silver booth or misc. something touching its side. If you're running up to that object from the A side spawn (you have to be tactical sprinting) you can jump (double press the jump button) and get on top of that silver booth object and have control of the middle. This counters that first spawn spot he showed in the back of C spawn on the wall.

The middle lane is cancer, and the 2 lanes on the sides are controlled by head glitches with AR's or Snipers way in the back making this map play incredibly slow sometimes.I'm glad they added in Vacant and Crash cause the map developers knew what the hell they were doing back then.

Shoothouse - centerline, or up on the concrete block looking across junk yard and shanty town. By far most efficient map for completing longshots.
Oh, if you're a sniper, just camp in the trees or a building on Krovik Farm and drive everyone else away from Ground War.
First. I love your maps exposed Videos. They could be longer with more spots.
Second. I like this map, but on S&D both teams have to rush A extremely hard to get it under their control.
I always go for bravo lol, when defending I also rush through the middle building. Then you either meet someone or flank them if they're going for A. However you risk then missing people on the river side.
I died the the hot dog window jump around mid season zero. I've tried to do it since but thought I had to bounce off of the awning.i hadn't forgotten about it

You forgot the A point tunnel and the floating island, great for locking down A point.
I bought the game 2 days ago and played this map today.
The gameplay felt like I was playing:

Idk if you have bought a CoD before or if you are insane good at it, but once you start to get better the "tactical gameplay" starts to vanish and all you can see are people playing with s-mines, claymore, the M4 and other (too) powerful stuff.

The people who are the best in the enemy team in ground war i.e., are still using mostly the M4.
When it comes to QQC, TDM on Shoot House just to list one map, I see plenty of Augs and other SMG, but M4 and still without a doubt the best weapon in the game

Very much enjoy this map; though, I enjoy the vast majority of the 6v6 & 10v10 maps. Only Shipment is terrible.
I like getting high angles from the top of the trains and taking care of snipers

This map plays better in Headquarters or Hardpoint where it forces people to move more.
All I play is shoothouse shipment 10v10 so I didnt know about these spots

Only play headquarters on here, domination in pretty much any map is a campfest

This map reminds me of Operation Metro in BF3 but done really wrong
I feel like I’m playing against a million spider mans on this damn map
The game is over when you have a head glitcher on the roof in C spawn, and two snipers at either side. They then have all 3 lanes locked down, and because they are too far back they are so hard to get to. I have been successful with the RPG, but the game just spawns then back there again. The spawn hardly flips.
The B flag is still awful to defend, or cap, or look at, or think about. The B flag on this map is instant death. They could easily fix a lot of those issues in the whole game by widening the radius of the cap zone, that thing is tiny. I practically have to twirl on the flag pole and beg for tips to cap that thing. Next thing I see is the yellow "CONTESTED" sign for like a frame, and then I'm getting executed by a guy using dead silence
It can play well but there is something off *uhm safe spaces intensify*
I wish the building in the back alley wasn’t so closed off. There is almost no point to that building.

Didn't play the map with 20h playtime xD I didn't even know this map is in the game.
As if this game wasnt already anti-Russian enough, they can't even be bothered to get the name of a major city right. I'm pretty sure they did it on purpose too because I could almost accept just "Petrograd" as a silly naming mistake because that's what it was called pre-WW2 but they seriously chose st. Petograd instead of st. Petersburg?! I mean come on...
It's called St. Petersburg in the campaign, I'm not sure why they changed it for MP.
It’s the same with the weapon names
I think Petrograd is actually fictional. Although very obviously based on St. Petersburg, iirc when you first enter a match in this map, the location actually shows the place as "Verdansk, Kastovia".
Still, not sure why they didn't actually just use Petersburg though, since the place is already featured in the campaign and has near-identical layout. We even have other IRL places like Piccadilly and other (maybe made-up) parts of London (Hackney Yard, Shipment), so makes this all the more confusing.

Dillon C I don’t play with headphones so this is the most penalized I’ve ever been playing COD I’ve never had below a 2.02 KD in any COD I got a 0.88 KD now😂😂 I suck bro🤷🏽♂️
@@justmemann I've "adapted" as they'd say. I stopped caring about my KDR and I even went as far as buying a headset since you have to listen for enemies instead of actually searching for them, lmao.
The mechanics are great guns feel great even the shitty ones... but 90% of the maps suck, the spawn logic is awful, and the fov issues ruin cover plus you cant even enjoy spec ops cuz its fuckin impossible without a full squad
Yeah all I play is "Shoot the ship". Literally the only maps I can tolerate playing.

Officially deleted the game and redownloaded Bo4. It's like a weight was lifted off me, so thankful to not be a part of this anymore. Also got the revitalized battlefront 2 and plan on not getting next year's cod. This year I'm thankful for Infinity Ward for helping me over the hump. Cheers everyone. It's been fun

I'm sure you're one of the few who allegedly can rush and play but I've been playing since Bo1 so this notion that I'm "tripping" is ridiculous. I think it's one of the worst cod's in the series. Shipping Area spawn is easily one of the worst places and awful spawns in all of CoD history.

ole karlsen he just did a video on them! Anywhere greater than 30m for SMGS, 37.5 for AR’s, LMGS, and marksman rifles, and 50m for snipers. The wall on shoothouse is my favorite spot for longshots, even for snipers. Ground war is good for longshots too.
if everything else they broke was fixed, the game and all of these maps would play great
