if you think that's bad FBI, Swat , And Military are worse in the GTA series they'll bury you in the ground in a heart beat and there's no escape depending what wanted level you're on.
Playing this as a kid back in the day I would do vigilante missions in the tank and eventually I finished a level on the southern most bridge. The next level the criminals spawned on the opposite end of the same bridge driving towards me, so I quickly finished that level. The next level the same thing repeated just the other way on the bridge. I cant remember how long this went for but I remember making tens of millions of dollars from that one vigilante mission. Replaying this game as an adult not using cheats is difficult.

Get all of the hidden packages first. You’ll have the mini gun. Use the vcpd cheetah. Use the mini gun on the cars from outside of your car. It destroys them instantly.
little tip before you start the vigilante mission to make it more easier.. 1 - collect 100 hidden packages after completing The Party mission in that way you can use the Minigun to easily destroy suspect's car. 2 - get a 3 star wanted level so the VCPD cheetah will appear kill those 2 cops of VCPD cheetah then steal and respray it now buy a safe house (I prefer El Swanko Casa) which has a garage and park the VCPD cheetah inside the garage and save your game. 3 - start the vigilante mission with 2500 rounds of Minigun and it will be a lot more easier.
I enjoy all the emergency missions. Taxis are one of my favorite things to do in GTAs. I thought it sucked the way they limited how many you could do in IV.
I was just doing stunt jumps across some rooftops on a PCJ and when I hit the ramp the bike caught on fire. I had to bail in mid air during the slow motion cinematic camera and the jump still counted! It was freakin' sweet looking. Then the bike blew up in the background.
Cheat way is to go to sunshine auto and park a police vehicle in your garage, then run to spray both and use the blow up all cars(except the ones in your garage), then back to the police vehicle in the garage for the next level. RINSE AND REPEAT.

I did it this way on both switch and PS5. Purchase the links view apartment property to save. Get at least a three star wanted level, steal the FBI cheetah, go to the closest pay n spray at the corner of that property, wait for the wanted level to disappear, then save at the links view property. Save that FBI cheetah in that garage for the vigilante missions. After loading the game, take the nearby car outside of the garage on the property, then park it inside the closest pay n spray and leave it inside that pay n spray. That’s “insurance” for you in case you have to steal a cop car if your fbi cheetah blows up before you get to pay n spray (either to remove the wanted level or to repair it to save it for the future vigilante missions). That is so you can easily remove the wanted level if it weren’t for the FBI cheetah. Make sure you do drive by’s with the uzi (stock up on at least 3,000 bullets total) or and at least 100 shells for the shotgun (if you want to or able to corner them easily). When you do the drive by’s, DO NOT get near the vehicle when it’s on fire and about to explode. Also when you get to level 8, beware of criminals who arm themselves with shotguns. They can wreck your vehicle easily if you aren’t careful. Kinda similar to how the mafia blows up your car in gta 3 after you kill Salvatore. Sorry if this sounds like too much to people but this is how I did it
You can get the tank by finding 90 hidden packages, so go hunt down some of that first before doing the vigilante mission. I didn't do that yet but people said it works
Cool game, respect. On PC, I also prefer using the fbi cheetah on this mission. It doesn't always work out the first time, but it's an interesting challenge to your game skills. On android it is too difficult so I had to steal a tank from the mission Yes sir. This is the easiest way to get it, which does not require collecting all the secret packages or the 6 star wanted level.
@@rayirth.upside-down If you have a garage, just park the tank let it self detonate inside the garage. Once you close and reopen the garage, it will be fully restored.
Obviously look at the controls u have set but it's usually holding down E and Q to look left and right. U can then hold down shoot to shoot. Hold down W as well to keep moving and pressing E and Q at the same time will make it look backwards (behind the car)
You must have a submachine gun. I suggest MP5, the otherz are weaker & if the criminals get out of the car and fire at you wit' their shotguns, you're history.

The police cheetah helped me out a lot through this mission because you can take the car to the pay and spray.
Yeah, ditch the wanted level AND heal your damage. It's the way to go.

i fixed it guys, it didn't work because i was using the wanted cheat, now with the hunter & w/out cheats i got the boost, DONT CHEAT like i did

Vigilante's are just hard than rampages because its timed and levels are long and a possible wanted level Ex: Rhino up to 6 six stars up to Military
