One of the beautiful parts about baseball is that you watch these players night in and night out for six months of the year. You may never meet them, but they become a part of your life. I'll never forget Trevor getting down on one knee to take a pic with my 8 year old brother at Tribe Fest in 2014. Or the gutsy performance in 2015 to keep the win streak going in that 17 inning game when he finished off the game. Or the way Trevor tried to pitch through his lacerated finger and chose blue uniforms so he could hide the blood. Or watching him develop that slider and changeup. Going to miss watching Trevor pitch every five days. Best of luck in Cinci!

Thank you, Trevor. As a brand new fan in the summer of 2016, the first game I watched was the extra-innings game in Toronto. You intrigued me from the start, and I began reading articles and books about pitching - including those about you and your journey and efforts as a pitcher. I became a season ticket holder, traveling up for games from Columbus. I followed you on social media and watched you almost-unapologetically be completely yourself - sometimes to my chagrin and sometimes to my delight. The fans always knew that you would include as many of us as possible in victory celebrations and videos that showed the team’s joy. My seat mates and I all bought your all-star jersey last summer and wore them to a game where you started. You have made baseball more interesting and more fun. The generosity of your interest in other players and their development is amazing. You will have impact wherever you go in life. Along the way, I hope your joy increases and opportunities for good abound. I wish you success and will continue to follow your career wherever you are.

Why do you Think baseball attendance is dropping? It’s because all the other fans of the other teams in the league’s are tired of watching their team lose.

Ever since I saw you warm-up for the first time you've been my favorite player in baseball. Granted I don't pitch anymore, but I swear I was never able to maintain strength and stability in my shoulder like I did after I discovered you and Driveline Baseball on RUclips.

All T Bauer thought of was himself. Playing with his drone and getting cut so bad that he wasn’t even allowed to pitch a few games in the playoffs and WS in 2016. All I can say is good riddance and feel sorry for the folks in Cincy!! All you have coming to you is an egotistical, screw lose, cares about 1 person kinda guy. Good luck

Chills and tears. I wanted Bauer before the Indians traded for him. The excitement of having your favorite team get a guy you like is huge. I loved watching Bauer develop. Sure he had some bumps, we all do. I appreciate what Bauer did to make the team better. To win games for my favorite team. Bauer will always be one of my favorite Indians. I will miss him on the Tribe but we got a great return. The front office does it’s thing and the goal is still to win the World Series and end the longest drought in the league. Thanks to Bauer for everything he did to help the team end that drought. Hopefully he can still celebrate with us when we do. Thanks for everything Bauer. Best of luck to you professionally and personally. Go Tribe.
