    it does seem a bit resistant to apply? like not super buttery smooth like how water activated pigments are. but i suppose that is to be expected, since it has to be smudge resistant and water resistant as well
    someone with a science background pls explain why xD

      Hi there! Great question! These are Alcohol Activated Body Paints (very different than water activated paints). The Alcohol Activator that is used to activate it "suspends" the pigment rather than "mixing" into the pigment like a water activated product. They are used for Special Effects makeup (tattoo cover ups, bruising, scars, skin dislocations), so the mixture needs to be able to be very sheer or buildable for high opacity. SFX artists need to be able to create the illusion of the color appearing under the skin as opposed to sitting on top of it. Hope that helps explain these products a little more!

      @@SUVABeauty that actually explains all my questions thank you! i am more of a painter than a makeup artist really, so i wasnt familiar with how these applied compared to water activated paint. very cool :D

    too bad im allergic to isopropyl alcohol, if thats what youre using

      The SUVA Pro Alcohol Activator contains SD Alcohol which is different than isopropyl alcohol. This type of makeup is commonly used for Special Effects Makeup!
