Great explanations. I don't know how players can keep all this info in their heads: which opp has played which honours, what their hand shape is, what was the bidding again, what could they have bid but didn't... Oh, and don't lose track of how many trumps are still out there!

I play attitude against suit contracts as high-low = encourage & low-high = discourage, so I was a little confused at first to hear Leon use them the other way around. But other than that, this was really fun guys, thank you for sharing this hand. If I would have play the hand, I think at the end I would cash all my high diamonds while I´m still in the north hand for the last time and runnning the J at the second to last trick.
I actually did cash the diamonds at the table, rushed through a little at the end and forgot to mention it here
@@TheMiningProbeExcellent video. One thing I’m a little confused about. With 2 spades, 3 hearts, 3 diamonds, and 5 clubs, Leon suggests doubling. Not the big double, just the standard takeout double. Is that standard practice? So I shouldn’t overcall with the “good” 5 card club suit, being 3-3 in the other two unbid suits? Thanks.
@@j31355a yeah, when the 5 card suit is a minor with 33 in the other suits the standard practice is to double even with a good suit. In higher level bridge overcalling 5 card minors at the 2 level isn't too common unless there isn't a good alternative
