Then a pickup truck comes up behind me and starts tailgating me. So naturally I slow down about by about 5mph. Then he passes me, almost clipping my car. Then after getting in front of me, he slams on the breaks and makes a turn with no turn signal. So he sorta break-checked me but also made turn. Fortunately he sped off away from me. Those bad pickup truck drivers are exactly why I have a dash cam.

Poor bastard has to drive your kids around for basically no money i think they're allowed to be a little over the line once in a while. Driving a school bus would be a lot of picking your moments, a red traffic light means a few seconds to turn around and yell at the rapscallion who's throwing stuff or otherwise ruining your day. The vast majority of the time they're too concerned with keeping your kids out of the path of the many lunatics without any driving skills who live in your local area. I don't envy anyone who has that job, not least of all Otto. The Simpsons kicked him out after barely a week just because his hair blocked the drain! He's a man god damn it, not a sponge!

@@daphne10120I'd contest the ticket if it happened like in the video. The car was about to make a left turn and changed their mind at the last moment and decided to illegally re-enter traffic. At very least they should have waited and joined behind the truck so they weren't being so unpredictable as the blatantly disregarded the road rules. Even if you're doing the wrong thing, in 9 out of 10 situations you won't get a ticket for waiting your turn. A collision with a stationary vehicle is always the fault of the driver who was moving, even if the stationary vehicle has no right to be where they are. All drivers should maintain a safe stopping distance and remain alert for hazrds including stopped vehicles. If in doubt, count to 3 and look around it might save you being T-boned by a truck who wasn't expecting you to make a totally unpredictable maneuver fo no clear reason.
I don't drive truck but my dad has most of my life. He would have never rode over the solid white line to pass just 1 car making a left like that. Especially with parked cars on the side. A truck driver of all people should know that other drivers are the most selfish and unpredictable things you come across. Playing it safe will get the load there faster than impatience. I also get that these clips are only enjoyable if there's interesting stuff like that

I’ve seen some school bus drivers including public bus transportation drivers that either drive like Indy 500 drivers or turn on a corner dangerously and even run red lights here in PA. 🤦♀️
I actually understand the first driver. I have the exact same problem. When making a left hand turn and there are pedestrians across the street but on the same side, exactly like this, they are entirely behind the huge A pillar of my car. I acknowledge that not seeing pedestrians is still 100% my fault, but in this exact scenario it is very understandable

One time as I was crossing some lady was on her phone while driving and was like 5 feet from hitting me and swerved out of the way and luckily there was a Cop (Sergeant to be exact) that saw the whole thing and the lady was pulled over and given a ticket.
Average RAM driver. If they’re not .001” from your rear end and honking and flashing their lights at you while you’re already doing 5-10 over, they’re being jack a mac wagons and swerving into oncoming traffic because they can’t wait an extra 2 seconds.

Bro the first clip happened to me a few months ago I was walking my dog and had to cross a street, when it was my turn to cross I got halfway through the lane when a car turning left cut in front of me almost running over my dog, the driver acted like he didn’t see me but the passenger stared at me the whole time it was insane
I saw one guy pass me on the right going 85mph+ on the shoulder. Some godly unbelievable reason the cop sitting in the center median didnt see it. As he passed 10 cars.
We have a great one in my town. 2 lane 40 mph that comes right off the freeway. 3 blocks in to the neighborhood it turns to a one lane, and right traffic must move left. Everyone from town just ignores that right lane, there’s no point. The tourists hug it and speed by on the right until the last second. Bad design

The first one is why i always watch yhe right rurn lane when in a crosswalk. MFers think they have the right of way to right on red. I actually had someone hit me with ther car while i was already all the way in the sife walk when they even got to the intersection. People suck.
Love that you say exactly what we're all thinking and some of us aren't brave enough to say it. My son is 6 and has learned a few colorful phrases thanks to moron drivers. My favorite is hearing him call them out for all the almost accidents he sees. He loves to shout, "You almost caused a crash. Get off the road!"
