I'm not a fan of field watches, and I would miss a date complication, but it really is a good looking dial. I'm lucky enough to have a Ginza Alpinist, and you're absolutely correct, it resembles that. The price is a little steep, but because its a Zelos I'm sure it will sell. Great review!!

And I am not gonna lie, the Ginza alpinist makes a bit jealous :) it is absolutely spectacular… I am a Seiko fan, I own Alpinist 1959, I wanted it for a long time and I finally got it for my 35 B-day from my wife - she probably really loves me in the end 😂 Thank you very much again!

Zelos is an amazing Microbrand. I own 6 of their watches, and hands down the best bang for the buck in all Microbrands. Especially if you like unique dials and knowing that there aren't thousands being made....maybe 300 at the most. But my favorite has to be either the Eagle Pilot Ti Meteorite or the Mako White MOP GMT Zelos just released. Can't decide. But any Zelos watch you can get your hands on will be a good buy.
6!? That is impressive collection on its own 😁 nice! I am not particularly fan of most of their designs, especially on divers… but that Aurora field I mentioned and I missed was hands down of the most beautiful things I have seen… thanks for watching!
@@WatchWatch-ck6xl Almost hate to tell you but I do own the Aurora Ti Field 42mm Adventurine and it's awesome! The sparkle is insane in the sunlight, and the dial is never the same when you look at it. Overall I have 186 watch's in my collection. And I make sure not to spend more than a $1000 on any watch in my collection. I might spend $1000 on a Hamilton and then put new strap which bumps up the total cost, but who's counting at this point? The latest watch I just picked up was the Marathon 41mm Arctic SSNAV-D and I put an Artem sailcloth loopless strap on it. Tritium is my new love affair. So here I start on this rabbit hole of buying all the Tritium watches I can find. Wonder if I buy too many if the radiation will build up????????????????
I got the bronze burnt orange swordfish field. The crazy thin rubber strap definitely makes it feel thicker than its dimensions suggest. I feel that the short lug to lug is another large factor in why the watch feels thick. After wearing it for a while I've adjusted and it oddly doesn't feel chunky/thick anymore. Fantastic watch for the money and a ton of fun to own and wear. I have a few of the Zelos watches and I do feel that the lume on their divers, particularly the hammerhead, mako, and spearfish with applied indices, is massively stronger than the swordfish field or swordfish diver which makes sense as the swordfish line is the "budget" less expensive offering
Thanks for the comment! I was super interested in the experience with their divers in particular since this was my first watch from Zelos and quite frankly I was a bit disappointed with the loom… Otherwise I have to agree… the watch is a lot of fun and its definitely unusual experience! Cheers!!!!
Good video. Not to be weird 😂 2:45 , but we are very similarly shaped, tattooed, and dressed. You hit on this, but I feel like it's a respectable watch that I (personally) would never wear. Keep 'em coming, man!
Thanks, hombre! 😁 I totally get it… Its honestly up and down with me… I sometimes absolutely love it, other times hate it and want to sell it 🤷♂️ but overall I am happy to have it in the collection… it is more playful than my other watches - Usually tool watches… that I think suit mine (our) appearance way more 😁 but then I see it in the picture and think it looks pretty cool and I can occasionally wear it when its the right occasion:) the fact that its no-date kinda helps - way faster to set the time and go 🤷♂️ thanks for watching and commenting! I have the blacktip with this MOP dial and you are correct it’s fantastic!

I love this watch; it's so bold. But I would definitely think twice about spending that kind of money on a watch with no date.
