I doubt he will catch up to Caufield, but at this rhythm, it looks like something more important as happened, Montreal who hasn't had a 40 goal scorer since Vinny Damphousse in 95-96 or so, Pacioretty came close with 39 once, now Montreal will have at least one guy who's a rising star (Caufield) who will surely score 50 if not this season, sometime soon in his career, but for now, 2 guys if Laine had started the season as supposed and not get injured in most cringe time to get injured, pre-season, the Habs now have 2 guaranteed 40 goal scorers, at least, if Laine's performance and health finally stays the way it is, the future instantly gets brighter for the Habs, Suzuki is a great 2 way centre who could get 90-95 points this season and people forget how young he is still (kinda like Laine), they've both been in the league since they were 18, that would mean Montreal would finally have 2 scoring lines worth being called so (especially if Dach wakes up and gets back to where he was in 22-23 and in those 2 games last season before that awful injury (double knee injury if I recall, both ACL and MCL) which had been a continuation of how he was playing in the latter part of 22-23, he had his best season ever and he was injured twice (it was more like Montreal Rocket as the lineup at times with the all time injury record). Plus, with Monty getting his game up another level, again, maybe it will be worth it to sign Laine, maybe for less than 8.2 million (what he's getting now), maybe 7.5 mil if he manages to score 30 and get 50-55 pts with just about 3/5 of the season in GP, I might be confused, the salary might be 7.2, I can't verify now, but if he continues scoring at this rate the Habs will have to sign him. It doesn't prevent the young talented forwards we have in Slaf and Newhook, who are both still very young from improving, on the opposite, we're at a point where the rebuild has been done when it comes to having a whole lot of young players (especially on defense) who are proving or did prove and maybe are having a little difficulty this year (Barron can score with his wicked shot, but he doesn't get much ice time, he should be on PP2), and the others used to accumulate assists a lot more, even Guhle, although he's been injured (again) but not for long thankfully who's very efficient defensively has lost a bit of his offensive edge this season, but yeah, with Demidov coming in next year and Mailloux likely climbing up to the NHL permanently (he did great in those 7 games, but the team has obligations towards some signed dmen). We need some veterans in a rebuild, so I'm not part of those who want to get rid of Matheson, he's being a great big brother to Hutson, hope he will teach him how to shoot more accurately and finally get this damn 1st goal, he's had a team record that is close to NHL records when it comes to the number of assists for a dman in his rookie season after 30 games (21 with his 2 assists in his late season appearances last season). He will depart when older and when Mailloux has also established himself in the team, that will be 2 deadly offensive dmen for sure. Savard is doing the same thing with more defensive guys like Xhekaj and Struble. For now it would be costly for me to break this lineup, it's been the first time Marty St-Louis has dealt with a full lineup these last few games ever since he's been coach, and when the whole team's there, it shows indeed (Laine!).
Title topic happens at 34:46 ... You'd think a company like TSN could break down topics like most decent channels .

Is this the best audio Bell Media can do? At least the commercials come in clear.
Audio sucks, no timestamps, bot swarming nearly every comment section.
Do better, TSN.
