We stayed in a corner suite last March on the 15th floor. I believe the lower floor suites are larger in size. You didn't have a TV in the "living room" area. Also, that's one of the original renovated suites. I think they called those the "deluxe". We stayed in the newer renovated rooms with the new wild Moroccan themed wallpaper, I rather enjoyed it. And it did have a nice desk. I'm guessing you are up on floors 25 - 28 there based on the scene at the beginning and the size of that room. I saw a corner suite video on one of the top two floors and boy was it small. We're going to be down there in a few weeks and staying in the tower 1 bedroom suite (not the elite). Since we're there Monday - Thursday night I'm going to see about a complimentary upgrade to the elite pyramid suite for the experience. Or the tower elite. Maybe since it's a slow time and midweek it'll happen.
I was warned away from the pyramid rooms long ago. However, the tower rooms might be the best-kept secret in Vegas, and the walkway to the Mandalay Bay has some good food. I’d rather stay at Aria or Mirage (RIP) but for the money (which for me is occasionally zero money) those Luxor tower suites are hard to beat.
Nice video tour. Stayed at Luxor for NYE 2000 and didn't like the irregular room with the low ceilings. Usually find a better deal at Rio and Excalibur.
Nice room tour. BTW this is the "Stay Well Shower explaination." Let us introduce you to a new and unique home shower experience. The Stay Well Shower Infuser reduces the chlorine in your shower water, which can lessen its drying effects. With our easy-to-install accessory, you can leave your hair and skin feeling softer and smoother. It can be added to your existing shower in just a few minutes.
Suppose to infuse vitamin c to bind with chlorine molecules, allowing your hair to do more pushups. Danny is right to be skeptical since hair does not need to do pushups.
You know what I would recommend bring your own portable desk cause I use Plano shelves as a portable desk and even bring like Sterlite drawers and a fold up ottoman Sterlite baskets are also good to as well
Shower head infuses Vitamin C into the water, reduces chlorine in water. I love the Stay Well rooms at MGM properties, especially for the air purifier.
Just got back from Vegas myself Danny. Maybe will see you out there someday. Keep up the great work with the videos. Have stayed at the Luxor several times. Used to be great. A bit old now, but still ok. Needs some upgrading.
Hi Danny! Also the room has a dinky TV. Also staying inside a pyramid itself should be a Staywell feature, LOL. Also the shower thing is a filter cartridge. I fave a shower like that but mine is labeled BeSick, who knew? LOL
I stayed there a week after it opened I was not really impressed. This was when I used to fly to Vegas. Before I started driving. And I was always used to staying at the imperial palace. And being close to everything but but staying out at luxor was away from action of strip. And it was expensive to eat. We would go to Excalibur or hacienda to eat. I only stayed there once and that was enough.
i love soaker tubs, like this one, that dont have the jets as they get moldy and gross, then when you turn them on, all that stuff in the pipes comes jetting out, then you breathe it all in. as you would say “not good guys… not good”. lol. :-D
Hi, youtube's software makes it that replies to comments dont make it to the list to view, so either it takes me forever to get to it or I might ever even see it unless I have hours to dive deep.. which I happen to be doing today! - - - - Email me next time you in town, would love to hang out!
What a wierd room. I'd stay there just to experience how wierd it is. Also, access to the Luxor's 24 hour cafe, as reported by Danny the Medic! EDIT: It's weirdness reminds me of an apartment I rented in Germany many years ago. Wierd carpet, wierd shower, but memorable. EDIT2.... Shower? No shower! OMG
Other than the tub, this is way worse than tower king one bedroom suite. The thing in the shower head is the powder that will give you vitamin infused water, but I don't think it will have any benefits. Southern view still has the Bud light ad banner on top of the pyramid
Last time I stayed at Luxor was 20+ yrs ago. Most Asians avoid Luxor due to superstition. Won’t find a lot of Asians there back in the old days. Times may have changed now.
@@dannythemedic A pyramid is a royal tomb. Asians won't be sleeping/gambling inside a "tomb"/"棺材 gun choi". That was the reason that many Asians avoided Luxor when it was built. Aiyaya, no luck!

OH I never knew that... but but, the Luxor pyramid is NOT a tomb, it is a hotel... I can understand that people may not wanna go to egypt and play slots in the actual tombs...

Thanks for the run-down review. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Years. (Happy Birthday ahead of time.

I would be glad to stay in that room in Vegas.
I always thought about staying at the Luxor. But you just convinced me not. I usually stay at The Palazzo at The Venetian Resort. I'm spoiled.
Love that soaking tub 😍

its not egypt themed anymore, i missed out on the old days
I really hate when I’m pulling on it and I have to adjust the grip.

Danny, I thought that you had left! The heck? I am leaving tonight. But I’ll be back in July.
i did. just got back last night

Hello Danny the Medic! It would be cool if I ran into you if you’re doing Vegas 12/20 thru January 5th. Please keep us posted if you’re still in Vegas
im here.
@@dannythemedic awesome.

I blame the ancient aliens for the angularly awkward, cumbersome curtains as we hapless humans try to imitate their pyramidal geometry. 👽
👍👍😊

Maybe just ask what that tube in the shower is at the front desk?....
they prob have no idea
It looks like a water softener.
With no jets, why in the heck would there be multiple seats 🤔 pretty silly
