Skateboarding will give you a really strong core too, constantly changing muscle tension and balance points, very good for the body. As long as you don't break too many bones 😅.

Brush your teeth standing on one foot, sit on a ball instead of a chair for work, do standing exercises on a balance pad, bosu ball, or standing on one foot. Single leg squats, single leg rotations, the possibilities are endless. (From a 20 year trainer:)
As a horserider, I'd like to say that any rider who's serious about what they're doing SHOULD do that exercise to improve the posture and maintain it not matter what. Core strength and balance are extremely important for horseriding and reinforcing deep muscles plays an important part (which is also why pilates is often advised for horseriders as well)!
@@christopherowen1776Do Pilates instructors correct your posture in the machines if you aren't doing it correctly? Rather than messing with the pvc pipe/weight/band..you could just do farmer’s carries. Grab a relatively heavy thing in one hand and walk with it while making sure to not “lean” to the weighted side. I do these everyday at work since I’m carrying buckets full of tools and materials around all day.

IF you want to make it more complicated just grab a 5 gallon plastic bucket from Home Depot and drop whatever “weights” you’re using into it and it will be more unstable and force you to engage even more.
