Equipo Sistemas one of the best things about Underworlds career is that all their overplayed and well known songs are not the best...so the really impressive work doesn’t get ruined by being everywhere and. Worn out. It also helps when those songs are 17min long as well :)
@@mrgorgun81 Pearls Girl helped shape me as a Producer. When I think of "songs of many genres/influences" it comes mind immediately. Pearls Girl is everywhere all at once. It makes you smile, it makes you dance - try to sing it and when you talk about Einstein, Morocco, Concrete you just go CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY
Taking one of their classic tunes and tweaking it just that little bit to bring it up to date. I'd like to see Underworld do this with the rest of their 90s back catalogue. It would be stellar!
Both albums Beacoup Fish & Second Toughest in the infants are both absolute classics. Pearls Girl and Born Slippy are masterpieces in music. Made me fall in love with Electronic Music.
Magical. Would have loved to have been there. This was the first Underworld song I ever heard, back in the late 90s. 20+ years of amazing, timeless music.
These guy's were pure fucking genius. Still have memories of hearing them in the mid 90s, and being like WTF is that! and I didn't like dance music one bit. No one has yet come close to what they pulled off.
Thank you so much Underworld for this show. It was, and is amazing. 2nd Toughest in the Infants was the 1st electronica album I bought at the tender age of 15, and still my favourite album of yours. Thank you
..Why does Underworld *never* do shows like this in America? Come to Detroit, guys! We miss you.. it's been like 20yrs.. and it's the home of electronic music in the USA..
Liked and Subbed. Great job with the summary!👊🤙 They are truly incredible and pioneers. The inner-demons Karl battled created hauntingly beautiful lyrics and covered every emotion imaginable. And to think, they're still reinventing the sound but staying true to their Roots. Plus, the story, like so many tracks, are dark and based upon feelings many never wish to feel or face, but he puts Everything, Everything (had to 😉) out there, sharing with all. When Two Months dropped, I was at the club, on my off-night, and heard my mate in the booth play the White Label {in the States - back when we were ~6 months behind -} I was nearly in tears on the dance floor (as were many who understood the message and significance) Happy to hear such a beautiful track after reading about it and Karl's journey finally reaching a brighter place. Plus, you can't help but feel the lyrics and music no matter which album or track, as Underworld are masters of Proper Tunes!! All the best, Brother.
How can you be there and stand still and watch it behind your pathetic phone screen while they are absolutely banging right infront of you Crazy,crazy,crazy...
Игорь I mean electro... nic music. Techno is from Electronic music as house, drum & Bass, industrial, and lots of music style made with electronics instruments. Just a Word 😊
There's a winged animal, probably a gosling, fluttering across UW songs. It leaves an egg in one of them, uttering its typical song (ga ga ga ga), then jumps in a different one. This time, it's brooding directly inside a museum, but...why not? There's a gig too, and it's Rijk... Flemish painters are clapping, Bravo! Poor Karl, he's orange to honour dutch football team🐔😂😂.
Born Slippy was the popular tune. But Pearl's Girl was the masterclass hit.

TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! The best song of an amazing band

Underworld is the Led Zeppelin of electronica. And this song is Whole Lotta Love...

Poeple saw 1 person make this comment and get like 1k likes and now every other mf copies and pastes it on every Underworld related video.

The trick is to make you forget it's electronic.
This, Rez and Cowgirl are my top 3 Underworld songs. Pearls Girl was always the underrated classic.

All the best, Brother.
The chord progresión at the end very similar to Miles Davis pharohs dance. The rhythm reminiscent of a flamenco Bulerias.
