The most important factor in starting a RUclips channel in my opinion is finding subject matter that you are PASSIONATE about sharing (remember you're in this for the long haul). So my advice to any newbies out there is to FIND your passion and SHARE your passion in the best way you know and watch your channel grow. Good luck RUclips newbies!.....and oldies!

Not always! A lot of it is finding your audience first, and then making what they want and filling that need instead of other way around. Not everyone cares about what you like and you have to do what to do what is to make the real money. Few people have made it by reinventing the wheel.

Ex.
Rain sound 1 min,
Bamboo water sound every 13 secs,
So it'll be less likely to have the same sound playing every minute.

Is it real that utube no longer monetizing the channels which don't have their own contenta like their own music videos etc?

Almost every successful RUclipsr I watch, always bring up the fact that they just got lucky. You can plan, market, network your brand but its entirely up to timing and what people are going to gravitate to. BUT… the more you post and the more you do it then the better the chances you have of catching that right timing. Just keep pushin!
Once you get some good views you just have to profit on it and keep being consistent

Four subscribers after five months?
Well, I thought I might get into that too, but I've talked to several people now who tried it, made it to 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours just to be denied monetisation! So all those fantastic numbers don't help much anymore. RUclips is coming down hard on those videos. Shame! 🤷🏽♂️🙄

Love this, I work so much and always wanted to do RUclips, more of the fashion and makeup when I was younger. Now that I am a bit older, I would love to just make some good money, retire early (at least work less) and travel. Being a influencer sounded great, but what I really want in life now is to just be at peace.
Anyone posting these "this is how you make an obscene amount of money from something" videos means the juice has been squeezed and the ability is now gone due to oversaturation. Now you're trying to make money from the idea being talked about on another platform like RUclips.

Turns out nobody here who tries it let you know how it worked for them.. 😔 if they actually succeeded, or if they got demonized etc.
Not sure if you know this but RUclips will not monetize reused content.. Let me explain. How many people download videos or images from pexels? Millions.. So thousands or even millions of people could be downloading the same videos and music etc and using it to create meditation videos etc.. If 2 or more content creators use the same videos, pictures or music in their videos then that is known as reused content.. RUclips will not monetize those videos.
Right it is still possible to have your own channel like this but reusing the sounds just would not work

@@JakeTilk You need motion video to get in the YPP with these kind of sounds is my understanding. Typically people also make a video showing themselves making the videos. This has been reported by many of the big noise channels that got demonetized in ~2018. My channel (~4k subscribers) with all original rain and fan recordings was rejected.

I've been doing all the job applications i can, been looking for any work possible, been trying to sell some of my things just to get by. To copy and paste a 2 minute video or audio clip to fill out 8 or 10 hours is no easy task. That's a LOT of repetitions. Plus, they sometimes glitch at the loop point, meaning you might have to crossfade them. Not to mention, you'll want some titling at the beginning and end of your video. More editing. If you've done video editing in the past, this isn't that daunting, but if you have no experience at all, there's going to be some learning curve to climb.
I have been busy looking for ways to get my channel to the next level. I am going to try some of these ideas. Thank you for this straight, forward tutorial !

Ok heres the deal, don't believe 100% of what these "youtubers" state in their videos. These youtubers need views in order to generate income for their youtube channel. So of course they are going to make videos on subjects that entice people to watch and "view". I've seen these vides before and all they are doing is trying to get your views and subscription so they get more $$$. Maybe some of these "sound" and "noise" youtube channels generate some money and maybe some don't. All I know is there is so much shilling on youtube just to get viewers and subscriptions just so they grow their channel and increase their income. So if I'm a youtuber with a channel trying to increase views and subscriptions, of course I'm going to look for subjects for enticing videos. All this is video is is a way to get you to view and subscribe.

There are o many rain and white noise channels out there possibly tens of thousands. It's very saturated.
Most channels have only a couple hundred subs after a full year of uploads.

Jake, if we copy and paste the original 2-min video to make it into, say, a 3-hour video, we will need to do it 90 times. This will make the file so huge it will take hours to export and then hours to upload. Can you teach us how to do this step more efficiently?
Hi! So you actually just copy larger and larger segments. The export time unfortunately is rather long in any case, it just depends on your computers specs.
