Southampton came to the Emirates with a defensive mind. And the point of the form at home and away. The away form is different because teams try to attack us at their home, so we have space to hurt them. At home, many teams drop back in a low block formation, so it takes more effort, especially with Odegaard missing, it's harder.
The change in the game when Jesus went off was huge. Felt a bit for Stirling. Wonder what would have happened if he had been with a less selfish forward. I know Jesus probably wanted to prove a point. But the point would have been better if he had played with Stirling. Stirling was hungry. Should have fed him. Stirling will shine, perhaps a sub for when an approach change is needed. Gooner from New Zealand.
I disagree with you on the point that we should have started the first 11 and give them 60 minutes and change. They did start in the Leicester match and was drawing when the changes were made. So you saying that we could have been 3 up by halftime, doesn't seem realistic, based on the previous home game. This season, we haven't scored 3 goals by halftime as yet. Even with Odegaard in the team
I don't understand why you guys are complaining in the first 20 minutes of this. Jesus and Sterling needs minutes. And starting them in the Southampton home match is the perfect opportunity to do that. Think about it, if everyone is match fit and ready to play, does Ethan even make the bench for a match? No. Starting 11: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber. Rice, Merino, Odegaard Saka, Havertz, Martinelli Bench 9: Neto, Kiwior, Calafiori, Tommy, Partey, Jorginho, Sterling, Jesus, Trossard. Left out: Tierney, Zinchenko As a matter of fact, Ethan, MLS and no youngsters are on the Arsenal first team that is on the website.
Thanks for having me on guys 👍🏻 absolute pleasure and a great chat as always 😁

Tend to agree Ray, I think it was one change too many personally but understood the rotation.
