Here's my argument for Jacobs. Last year he was coming off an extremely heavy workload, close to 400 touches, that historically almost always causes injury or a 30%+ drop in productivity. In his case it was both. I was 0% Jacobs last year for that reason (and for the record will fade CMC this year as well for the same reasons), and fairly vocal about it, so I'm in no way a Jacobs fanboy. This year not only is he coming off a much lower workload he's also going to a much better offense. He's a decent pass catcher. Dillon stinks and Lloyd is hurt so I think the committee concerns are somewhat over blown. 1200 yds, 12 TDs 45 receptions with 2 TDs are what I expect to see. Good luck to all.
I think Jacobs is probably one of the more divisive players within fantasy football year in and year out. The case against would be his inefficiency. If he surpasses our expectations, we'll be very happy for you at least!
His workload last year - when he was CLEARLY still compromised - should tell you he IS in fact one of Sean Payton guys, even if he was already there when Payton arrived. If you aren't acknowledging that Williams is now sufficiently past his devastating knee injury then you guys are both badly misinterpreting this rb situation. Wow, your last comment about Nix NOT throwing a copious amount of passes to running backs in PAYTON'S offense means you CLEARLY don't know Paytons tendencies.
Josh Jacobs is the best pick on the board. I’ll take josh Jacobs behind an actual good offensive line and with a coach that has one of the best zone running schemes in the league all day. Not sure why y’all are knocking him for not doing well on a bad team that couldn’t pass the ball. That’s not going to be the case with packers. The packers have gone out of their way to talk about how they want to use josh Jacobs in the passing game so it’s not good to fade him for that reason either. Fading one of the few RBs in their prime, on an good team, that’s shown us he can play at a high level before will be a mistake for sure.
Appreciate your points. It’s definitely something we’ve talked about and considered, but Jacobs is coming off a career low in yards after contact per attempt and missed tackles forced. Those numbers are RB numbers, not offensive line or scheme numbers. Perhaps he does make up for the inefficiency with pass catching, but it’s a tough price for us to pay when there are fun WRs going around him.
@@TheFFSanctuary Not sure how yards After contract are just a running back stat when your offensive line allows some of the most contact before the line of scrimmage in the league. He also broke 3 Less tackles than CMC, Travis ETN broke 31, so it’s really not a significant stat in regards to fantasy points

This makes me feel good about fading Josh Jacobs pretty much all draft season.
Love to hear it.

Not with you on Swift, Williams or Kamara but still great content 👍🏻
Cheers Ross. If you're right they'll turn out to be bargains!
I’m not sure what’s better, the accents or the takes! #RoadTo3k
Appreciate it DJ!
Eagles fan here..... The problem with D'andre Swift is he is not a good pass blocker so teams aren't too happy about that part of his game lol
Yes sir. Not a good pass blocker, doesn't get the goal line work... gets pretty tricky to be bullish pretty quickly.

It’s less about Nix not throwing to RBs but not throwing to Javonte. McLaughlin will likely eat into Javonte receiving work heavily
