      Yes. Some artists use encaustic only! I haven't tried that yet!

    Just wondering? Why all those coloured papers and tissues when building the first layers? It’s all covered afterwards

      Hi! Thank you for watching. I had never built one before..or maybe only one. 1. I thought it help to strengthen the bowl. 2. I didn't know how I would finish it when I started so it just happened that it all got covered.

    Could you use watercolors to color the plaster?

      Yes, absolutely. Watercolor and Gouache paints are compatible with encaustic.

      Yes, water color would work too. Absolutely!
