Small correction: in tubal ligation, its not ovaries they close. Its the fallopian tubes hence the name “ Tubal ligation”.

Hi andi ..u did a great a job but my sister underwent tubal ligation .Unfortunately her kid expired due to heart disease and she consulted for reversal procedures and she got operated for reversal procedures and gave birth to one more little angel .Many doctors suggested Ivf but she belived in natural way and got cute kid through reversal procedures .

Tq for taking in a good way.But it can be reversible .because in many circumstances if one of the child dies to accident or any other cause parents are asking for the tubal reversible procedures .In articles and google as it written by non medicos it will wrongly guide us .But we doctors are doing it in a very careful and aseptic methods after doing hysterosalpingography .All d best for future videos and appreciating you for the way you choose to give orientation to general people in a simple ways .
Tubal ligation is irreversible. Here in US most of the doctors will cut away the fallopian tubes to prevent further complications in future. The only way to have kids after tubal ligation is going through IVF.
My self gynecologist .whether it is Us or India it can be reversible .ivf is one of the way but what about the people who cant affordable ivf methods ,? ?.Many people are asking for reversible procedures& one of the procedure name called tuboplasty in it .Even we use laproscopy guidance for it... like in procedures i.e. minilaprotomy and the prognosis depends on how healthy the remaing tube is and also on the male factors..if you have any queries please send mail to me i will clearly send the pictures and procedure videos .Ligation is nothing but occluding tubes with clips/rings etc..so in reversal under laproscopy guidance we can remove them .Salpingectomy is the term which is used for complete removal of tubes which is entirely different and irreversible (helps in preventing ectopic pregnancy also) .salpingectomy and tubal ligation are different .
