I’m 78 and I too believe people should get the flu shot, as I just did last week, as well as the shingles vaccine and, like you said, it affects everyone differently. I got my first one back in 2012 and I was just fine but about 3 years ago I got one of the two new ones and the next day I was, for me, very sick. It was terrible but only last about 24 hours but because of that I could never bring myself to go back for the second one. Now I worry I’ll get shingles, my mother had them and I remember how painful they were.
I really, really enjoy your videos. I don’t think you should change anything and I love your cats😊
I'm 63 and I believe everyone should do some research on all these "shots" before allowing something to be injected into their bodies. That's the only way we can make informed decisions for ourselves.

A nurse once told me to get vaccines in my prominant arm. She said you move it more often so less likely to get stiff and sore. I found it works on most, but not on the shingles. It was really sore!!

I just turned 70 October 3rd and i had the shinges shot at 65! I had a sore arm but you can help that by exercising yur arm right after gettig the shot and keep it up! I was tired but no other side affects!

Hey, my daughter and I both got our Flu shots Friday and are still feeling kinda crummy today, so you might have gotten double trouble😝. I’ve been waiting for a Temu package for two weeks, it’s gone all over the state from east to west and has quite a history!, and now it says someone picked it up at the post office, however the post office is on the other side of the state! Gotta love our USPS!

I’m glad you told your listeners not to be discouraged about getting the shingles vaccine. I had zero reaction to both vaccines. My mom was down for a few days, but she still would rather get the vaccine then get Shingles again. It’s a horrible virus that affects your nerves and it can be life threatening and or loss of vision if you get it on or around face/eyes. It’s very painful.
Wear the ghost earrings just so you can tell people one of them asleep! 😂

The shingles vaccine is rough for a lot of people but so worth it. I had a pretty strong reaction but my husband didn’t. My unvaccinated sister got shingles about a month ago.
So sorry the shot affected you like that! I got that shot also plus the flu and pneumonia and my arm hurt for a few days! 😏😞🤗
I’m getting my second shingrix shot on Thursday, my first one wasn’t bad, I had no side effects, but shingles will make you go crazy, the pain is unbearable. I’m not sure how people get through it, my spot was very small but excruciating, I couldn’t imagine having it worse.
Ohhhh believe me, getting actual shingles is soooo painful and wayyy more debilitating, be glad for those vaccines. Get well soon!
I had that reaction as well but my dr. Said that shingles is very painful and it can cause permanent nerve damage.
