    Yes. You should.
I hiked The Most Popular Trail In Tasmania and recorded it for you so you can see for yourself if you should hike Dove Lake at cradle Mountain.
Dove Lake's trail is a 6km loop track that is very popular all year round. Situated at the base of Cradle Mountain in Tasmania this trail is rated a 'Grade 3' track and should take you about 2 to 3 hours to complete.
There is no carpark at the trail head so you must take the 20 minute shuttle bus trip from the visitor center to the base of Dove Lake. Once on the trail you'll be greeted with well maintained boardwalks, hard grit and rocky steps underfoot. Watch out for the very curious Currawongs, especially if you have food out, as they are always looking for a quick snack (please, don't feed the birds). You might also be lucky enough to see Wombats, Echidna and the very popular Pademelons.
The trail features vegetation including buttongrass, myrtle, sassafras, fagus and King Billy pine, plus landmarks such as Glacier Rock, The Boatshed and a stunning 'Ballroom Forest'.
Use this virtual hike as a tool to help decide if Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain is a suitable hike or trip for you. Watch the whole hike in full, or skip to different sections so you can gain as much knowledge as you need to help you decide if it's worth the trip. I also have playlists of long hikes for virtual treadmill use or if you like trail ambience on in the background whilst drawing, studying or sleeping.

The audio was a little tricky to record on this hike as it was rather windy in sections. I have reduced the audio level when it gets really bad so please forgive this technical issue.
