  • This story is told by a guy whose long term GF cheated on him while she was on a business trip. He is made aware of her indiscretion through an anonymous source who sent him a video of his GF and her AP in action. After finding out, he immediately breaks up with his GF and attempts to go no contact, however she continues to relentlessly pursue him at his home and job. Find out how the OP handles this difficult situation on this week's edition of Find Your Alpha!

Yes. Closure only suits the cheater. The lady in the comments who advised OP to give her closure gave her own reasons for wanting closure from her own cheating)) It seems her idea of closure is to be told the cheating is OK so she can cheat again on the next dude. Without this 'closure' it seems she was less likely to cheat again and still feels shame from her actions

I find the female responses disturbing. "Don't end a great four-year relationship over a single mistake." Zero accountability or acknowledgement of who actually damaged the relationship. A cheater invests so much time and energy in trying to reconcile/recover a broken relationship when it would've taken a fraction of that effort to avoid the problem in the first place. You have agency over your body and choices, right? Then own your choice and suffer the consequences. I would appreciate the effort to reconcile but if he cannot forgive, take it as a hard life lesson and move along.

Mistake #1 -- didn't make it darn clear at work that she of out of bounds.
Mistake #2 -- failed to notice or take action when he was clearly interested in her.
Mistake #3 -- she went on a trip with male coworkers without immediately setting boundaries.
Mistake #4 -- she consumed alcohol with men around. Why? (Note, women often drink before doing bad thinks so they can blame it on the alcohol).
Mistake #5 -- she went with him back to the hotel room.
Mistakes #6-#10 -- every act did leading up to the sex, talking, undressing, making the video, etc.
Mistake #11 -- after she did it, she failed to correct the mistake -- confessing, telling his wife, quitting her job, etc.
Mistake #12 -- she failed to admit the truth when confronted, to the point OP had to describe the video.
Mistake #13 -- she failed to correct her mistake even after confronted and OP knew -- confessing, telling his wife, quitting her job, etc.

@@triplecheesemac Well in these videos and real life experience women are more vengeful and or more forgiving. They either go as complete ape shit crazy (probably when they don't love anymore) or super forgiving (when they love).
I.e. Generally speaking when a woman starts to cross your boundaries or cheats you are basically fucked since she doesn't love you anymore (she may say she loves you) but love lasts 3 years max, since most women are raised without knowing what respect means and are only cuddled they have bad understanding what respect means. So when the love phase goes out they are left with partnership and partnership without respect and morals is a wild west.
That's why women are cheating more and more, men on the other hand cheat almost the same as time before internet. Since if we don't learn early on what respect is, we are going to be poor or die quite fast.
Also women are more fluid on morals while men are more solid on them. Even though women are the biggest conservatists in nature due to stability that it brings and men are progressives due to need to compete.

This wasn’t the first time she had cheated. The way she went blank when op showed her the video and wouldn’t not speak and went completely emotionless. Especially since she wasn’t drunk like she said she was. I’m thinking she was trying to get with the coworker for a long time but he had more sense and wouldn’t allow it. She was just waiting on her chance and as soon as she got it she took it. And the way she was acting crazy after he ended it she thought all she had to do is show up wearing nothing but a parka or bathrobe and everything would be ok. This wasn’t the first time she cheated in op and wasn’t the first time she cheated on a bf.

I would like to point out how much easier this OP had it since he was NOT married to her or even living with her. He basically was able to just walk away, even though she went stalker on him which was another issue. If he were married to her, she would have dragged everything out, he may have been forced into counseling and it would have cost tens of thousands in legal fees, and he might have even had to pay alimony or split other assets. Again he just said 'Adios' and walked on.
It also sounds like this may not have been the only incident of the GF with the coworker, just the one he got the video of. Thank goodness he found out when he did though. Train wreck avoided.

Clearly the ExGF has not given up. The hiatus in stalking is simply because Faithless GF just has too much on her plate right now to devote energy to her obsession. SHTF at work, AP's life is in turmoil, her own situation will require damage control at the very least and now she has a vengeful wife making it her mission to destroy her.
OP is likely in the clear for a short while but the more this girl gets pounded down by the consequences the crazier she is likely to get.

What guys really need to understand is. The modern female is a completely different breed. There was nothing ever like her in History. She's a mutation of sort. Something in between male and female. masculine but has somewhat feminine, or female attributes and features. The more masculine she gets, the more make up she uses to hide her masculinity and give herself more of a feminine polish. Case and point. I highly suggest guys observe this. IF you can.. Try catching a female with absolutely NO makeup. fake hair, extensions or any modifications. Try catching her in her completely bare form. Talk to her and carefully observe her behavior, attitude, tone, posture, everything.. Then catching her after she's installed all of her modifications, makeup, hair etc. And pay close attention to her attitude, voice tone, everything. It may shock you, but you will more than likely find that she will be much more bold, less feminine, meek and modest. More aggressive and masculine. She'll become almost a different person. And there is a very very good reason for this.

@@dlewis9760 I am not going for nice. The worse thing you can ever do to someone like that is to show them indifference. There is a story of a guy that stopped talking to his wife even before he served her divorce the second he found out she was cheating. Her parents and his mom called him and asked him why her served her and he simply said thank you for being good to me and your daughter knows why. They came to his house and knocked at the spare room that he has been sleeping in. All asking why and the STBXW crying saying she doesn't know why. He walked back to his room and grabbed the envelope of the PI pictures and dropped it at the coffee table and walked back to his room. Five years later he ran into her. She did the small chit chat and apologized and asked for a chance to make it up to him. He said how would you do that? She said things just got out of hand and she is different now. He said you don't even know what you would make up for me. Here I was the man that loves you and was faithful and willing to die for you. But now I lost trust, I will never get remarried nor have kids and if even I was stupid enough to take you back. All I will get is a lying cheating S.L...T. Cheaters don’t deserve close. It’s typically a trick to gaslight and blame shift. Many many years ago I feel for the “I just want closure” BS and had to listen to why “I” was responsible for her “mistake”. It’s just a way for the cheater to take a big dump on you again. Just cut the off and move on. No need to do a Scooby Doo investigation on why they cheated. No need to buy into the sunk cost fallacy of how much time has been invested in a relationship. And always have boundaries and cheating as you number one deal breaker. Unfortunately a lot of cheaters think that your “love” will allow them to do whatever they want because “you” love them.

Goes through her contacts and messages and comes up with OP. Also, knows how to cover their tracks. Bogus "From"s in E-mails that your eyeballs see is ez-pz and I've done it for the job. The underlying e-mail address and the bouncing of servers is the tough part. I can read that stuff, it's not hard, but I have no idea how to screw with it. You see something with ".cn" it either started in or passed through China.
About 10 years I was getting scam e-mails left and right. I tracked them down to zombie web sites hosted in Malta. I contacted the web hoster there 3 times with different zombies. Did the same for some outfit in Indiana. Getting goofy e-mails. Then Indiana outfit thought I was nuts. A couple of hours later, "Thanks, we found a bug".
