    When a first rounder gets drafted, he is allowed to make mistakes and get used to the NFL. When a kid is nearly undrafted, every mistake is an indictment on why he can't cut it. It doesn't matter how well he plays or how consistent he is, the "experts" will never admit they missed the ball.

      @@mrgrimreaper94basically every big play he makes is like that, too. It's friggin elite level stuff that he's been so good at haters are already taking it for granted. Like, that's NOT normal. Even the QBs that are good right out the gate don't all come in with that level of anticipation CONSISTENTLY. People see him do it so much that they think "shees, well if this guy can do that, it MUST be easy." But it's not

    • @fr9714
      @fr9714 9 месяцев назад +2

      100%. He's already calculated the optimal speed, trajectory and release point vector and cmc turns and balls boop right there.
      But to me, even better is 5:56 esp in other videos at diff angles. The Bucs defender falls down because it is just beautiful just beyond his leap and physical ability to be so precise. This is something only the GOAT did routinely. To me that is the best Purdy throw.

    I remember as a young kid watching football when Joe Montana first took the field. And I'm not saying this kid is Joe but damn he sure does play a lot like him. You never see him get overly flustered. He slices defenses up with ease. I mean he completely and totally has his fucking way and they can't do anything about it. Yes of course that's on his receivers having the ability to get open. But it also has to do with him watching the field and knowing where to get the ball to. And some of these throws are ridiculous. I'm looking forward to watching this kid and he's only going to get better and better

    Time is running out and receipts are being kept. Shannon can’t deny it after hearing Rice declare that Brock reminds him Joe “Cool” Montana. I am always sporting my Nardo Gray SF logo hat around town and 2 days ago I ran into one of Brock’s families friends here in Newport Beach where the Mr.Irrelevant week is held every year. He’s known BP since he was 5 years old and hosts his family out here when they vacation away from AZ. Crazy how things come full circle. You’ll see this young man give all the glory to God when he lifts that Lombardi come 02/11/2024. Can’t wait to hear those words from him and also…. “Brock Purdy, You’ve just won The Super Bowl; What are you going to do next? I am going to Disneyland!”

    It cracks me up how Shannon was slurping up Mahomes being elite but tbh he was only looking elite when he had all those weapons. Now that he only has Kelce, he looks less than his superbowl self when he actually had weapons to throw to. The only real dude here is Stephen A.

    • @fr9714
      @fr9714 9 месяцев назад

      Sorry man, both are true. Mahomes needs weapons but he is also elite. He won SB without Tyreek last season. He has never been below AFCCG. Despite the poor team and Tony drops and MVS drops they're 9-5. They make those catches and they're 11-3 or even 12-2. Bit more discipline and 13-1. Why? Mahomes.
      Dude is truly the next Brady. I dont like him at all but I respect his football skill.

    The Brock Purdy Story is the most perfect example of how incompetent the NFL truly is when it comes to recognizing talent and potential in young football players. This proves the draft is seriously flawed. Think about this: how many Brock Purdies have gone undrafted or not even given a chance to prove themselves just because the scouts couldn't see what was in front of them? There's probably hundreds of really good players around who never got selected by the NFL. The 49ers are so lucky they found this kid.

    Great summation of Brock!
    Brock is a very precise, intelligent QB, that has a fantastic demeanor and attitude, as with a vast majority of all of the other players on the Niners!!
    I gave up Pro Football due the the woke “kneeing” insanity that infested the NFL, and the Niner team!
    But Brock and the Gang have brought me back!
    The first thing I saw with Brock on his first play replacing Jimmy was his very cool and calm demeanor!
    To me, this is absolutely The most important quality in a Elite QB! Calmness and very high, “ processing of the game!
    Brock has this quality, much the same as Montana, but in my view, is even more accuracy than Joe had!!
    Go Brock!! Go Niners!!

Now he’ll get a full offseason with basically the same skill players next year. Scary.

    1:20 come on Unc!! Yes the system he's in and players around him definitely has helped there's no denying that but to say his success is because the system and he's a "system QB" is ridiculous. Regardless of the system he still has to perform and execute that "system" and regardless of the "system" it has no effect on his accuracy and decision making which he does both great and that's what makes a great QB. Any QB is going to struggle if they are missing their offensive play makers except the GOAT TB12. Also in fairness during their 3 game losing streak their defense was also struggling so it wasnt all on Purdy.

    Of the 3 games the Niners lost, they had a chance to win the Browns game. Kicker unfortunately missed the game winner. And maybe even the Vikings game; had the DC not called an all out blitz in the final seconds before the end of the first half that resulted in a TD for the Vikings, they just had to play prevent, make the tackle and go into halftime down 7-10. That TD ended up being the difference. Bengals game they were beat, plain and simple.

    Well, look at Shannon Sharpe trying so hard to be relevant. Sorry, but I'm not going to give him props for something he should have been saying WEEKS ago. I don't hate Shannon, I just simply have no respect for his opinion.
    No, he criticized Brock Purdy for losses that were essentially beyond his control.
    Against the Browns, did Brock not drive the team down the field and put them in scoring position? Did Shannon make ANY reference to that or that the 49ers Rookie Kicker missed the Game Winning FG? Was Brock supposed to kick that FG, Shannon?
    Against the Vikings, right before Halftime, with the Vikings up by 3 - 10 to 7, during a zero blitz, Mooney Ward, being the only man in the defensive backfield, tried to intercept a ball at a bad angle and couldn't get a 2nd hand on it to secure it. That ball was was ripped from his grasp by Jordan Addison and Ward was in a very poor position to make a tackle. Of course, the play ended up as a touchdown for the Vikings (with a missed XP), putting the Viking up 9 points. In the 3rd Qtr, the Vikings scored 2 FGs and the 49ers scored a TD. Early in the 4th, the 49ers score one last FG leaving the score Vikings 22, 49ers 17. Brock suffered an UN-diagnosed concussion in the 4th Qtr and immediately threw one of two interceptions.The 49ers lost that game by 5 instead of winning by 1 due in part to a Mooney Ward missed tackle.
    Has Shannon EVER acknowledged that? No, he hasn't. Do you think Shannon would have crapped on Purdy if the 49ers had somehow won those 2 games? I doubt it.
    In fact, Shannon continued to criticize Brock even after the 49ers beat the Eagles because he still said that the team carried him and it was all Deebo Samuel that day. I don't have much respect for Shannon Sharpe's analysis no matter which team he's talking about. Sounding smart and being smart are two different things. IF you only look at the end result to judge someone, then you don't understand how today's game is being played. And one would have thought that with all the games Shannon Sharpe played, he would know better. But he doesn't.

    Id say depending on how CMC and Brock finish decide who gets the MVP. Now Lamar I'm not seeing him get it regardless of what happens on Monday. You notice on a couple of his losses he took he played well enough to win period. We had 2 and 2 out. 2 on offense and defense out. Major players period. So he did need to just run a few times in the losses to scramble the defenses yet stayed in the pocket a little to much. Though a loss can give you film to watch and learn from. Brock is far from done. I don't see the ravens coming close to Frisco if they are lights out in the first half. He scores even in his losses he scored 17 and 3 missed field goals and 7 penalties in 2 games by ward didn't help.

We easily should have won 2 of the games Purdy scored 17 points never being shut out or close. Shannan needs medication period. And now he's back on the saddle of brocks nuts .

    Lmao Brock purdy just came into a good team. Mahomes, Lamar they would be undefeated. But ok what a bunch of jokes y’all got. Y’all must not watch the games. These past 2 games Brock proves he can’t take hits and if y’all can rush at him he’s no good. I just laugh comparing him to Montana 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    Purdy was concussed when he threw the two picks during the Vikings game and probably wasnt 100% against the Bengals.

    Brock will be a big name after this year and can't wait to continue to watch his journey. He is a great human being and a great QB. He was over looked in the draft and just like tom brady he will make history proving he was worth giving a chance.
