- Clean the Trotters thoroughly clean the cow trotters with warm water, then cut them into smaller manageable pieces.
Boil the trotters in a large pot, add the trotters and enough water to cover them. Bring it to a boil and cook it 2-3 hours, or until the trotters are tender. Add water as necessary to maintain the level.
Ingredients
1-2 Cow trotters (cut into pieces)
1 Large onion (chopped)
2 Tomatoes(blended or chopped)
1 Teaspoon ginger
1Teaspoon red chili powder
2 green chilies
Black pepper
Salt to taste
1 Cinnamon stick
1 Cassia stick
You can serve this hearty soup with bread, chapati or rice.
