THANK YOU SO MUCH. After 2 years of watching this video every so often and practicing for multiple hours a day, I can officially say I can do most of the tricks on this list. This video has been such a great source of practice content, I never would have gotten some of these tricks without this video to study. Thanks again!
Hi! Really great video, I always wanted to start dragon staff and now I might finally really do it! Can you tell us what staff you use? it looks pretty solid, especially the ends are thicker than the usual ones I found on the web so far!
I’ve been learning slowly from your movements and have a few tricks down so far. Amazing content. Where did you acquire your dragon staff if I may ask?
I am just getting into this and for me it'll be easier if you can talk and explain where to move your arms etc? Watching it trying to figure out but it'll save time if you did that. Can you post the same video but actually showing step by step of how to do the tricks? Sorry thank you!
Check out the dragon staff skill tree for names of tricks, I agree it eould be easier but I've learned the hard way watching repeatedly and in slower times (slow the video down) is the best way to engrain the types of motion needed and messing around with it yourself. I started doing tricks by accident because the only thing you really need to be 'taught' is the concept and theory behind this specific flow. You can find tutorials but there's always been a shortage or dragon tutorials because it is so much body awareness and feeling that can't be taught
This is quite fast. Do you have this broken down into individual videos a little slow down with words of what you’re supposed to be doing and helpful tips?
@@cameronmilton1647 2 is a minimal steve. You can turn it into a full steve by putting a full spin in the middle of your back. It's a lot harder though. I can only find vids of it for contact staff.
As a teacher, this video honestly infuriates me. This isn't a tutorial by any means, it's a show-off showcase. Tutorials require instruction, steps, and engagement. Not any of these are broken down, given any context or info... just, c'mon man. You're very smooth with the staff, but you're doing nothing to actually teach anybody with this video. The awkward, goofy spinners with half your finesse but 10x your instructions are also 10x better teachers.
I first watched this video 3 months ago and now I can do all the tricks and I’m spinning my own fire dragon staff

1. Split time chi roll

5. High toss to cheating deathish
6. Cheating death behind head
7. Body wrap to partial Steve
8. Cheating death to half matrix
9. Continuous Halos
10. Spin toss

12. Matrix
13. Continuous head roll
14. Helicopter
15. High toss
16. Chest trap mixed with thigh roll and a toss
17. Cheating death chest variation

Could you add a list of names for these tricks?
Best video out showcasing the staff appreciate it heaps

I'm almost embarrassed with how many times I've watched this video at 25% speed. Thank you for making this video, it's been extremely helpful!

@@RefractionShuffle oh I think I've seen people do full Steves at my local jam, that makes a lot more sense now
Love this but it’s not a tutorial as you haven’t taught how to. Would love one if you can 💗🙏🏽🤸🏽♀️🔥
Song ID?
Operentzia 👍👌
@@Madridchk1 what’s the first song in the video called?

6: cheating death
12: matrix
I'll try to add more as I learn their names.
Coool j'aime bien. Regarde ma vidéo

How many black eyes did you get in your staff career?
2× 1inch scar over both eye
Last summer
This past 2 week, 2 black eyes on my left eye 🤣🤣🤣
What are the names? I am trying to practice number two but a little slower and with some explanation would be cool
I don't the names of all tricks..
It's a steve
Try minimal Steve's to get the ha3bg of it
This is more a demo. Tutorials actually instruct
That was not a tutorial lol just you doing moves
