Your crazy for thinking sorcery outclass incantations maybe earlygame but late game if you do all the content incantations are very powerful idk ive tried spells on an intelligence biuld i dont think there that great or fun just my opinion but the dragon incantations are devestating forsure like comet azur could be good but if your enemy moves at all its just pointless

Well I have a bit of reasoning, if you look at the community overall, you can see how easily strong and broken sorceries are. Carian Slicer, Glintstone Phalanx, Night Shard/Comet, Ranni's Dark Moon, Rennala's Full Moon, Rock Sling, Shard Spiral, Stars of Ruin, Glintstone Icecrag, all of the sword spells and ALL of these can be significantly buffed by 35% with an additional 8% wearing all of Rogier's set. Not to even mention the plethora of talisman that buff sorceries both in casting time and in damage. While incantations may have more variety and look cooler, they completely fall flat for the most part. Most of the Dragon incantations aren't worth the mp, wind up time, or dps. All except a few incantations dps wise are worth using, but take a decent amount of stat investment.
Now in terms of utility for builds? Of course incantations work better. Flame, Grant me Strength and Golden Vow alone make up a good amount of builds and their utility is unmatched. The wrapon armaments work wonders on certain builds and there are a few other buffs which work really well. When I spoke in the video about sorceries generally being battle, I was specifically talking about the damage-based ones, since those are primarily the ones play-tested in the DLC. That said, sorceries still outclass in terms of number and damage potential, so ultimately it doesn't really matter, they objectively are better and stronger in Elden Ring as a whole. Unless the DLC can release a ton of incantations and buff current ones, I don't see it overtaking sorceries, let alone being equal. I personally prefer the flashiness of Incantations and I think they're much cooler, but in general they get outclassed HEAVILY. This applies for both pvp and pve, unfortunately.
