glad to see I'm not the only one who seam to think the over all product seams... Flimsier then it should be I'd be terrified transforming any version of this though with how thin some of those transformation hinges and stalks are.

Ok now this is great looking Defensor. Always did like his stocky build.
Great video. Here's hoping Jinbao make an upscaled version that fixes the ratchets and any other issues like they did with gravity builder

Days of intuitive transformers are over …….I may not be able to transform him without a transformers for dummies manual but when the finished product looks this good I am ok with it
Yes, a bit complicated for the transformation…. but after you play it once…. you can get an idea and can memory 70% of steps….. I hope my video can assist all of us when you forget a bit step
Looks great I always did like GTs style, and designs but the engineering and fragile plastic are major issues with this set, all of my limb figures had plastic breakages either our thr box or with minimal manipulation, that’s why I got rid of the set. Foofighters transformation for all modes is overall long and complex, and it’s clear on your video that the shoulder ratchets for the combined arms are not strong enough, and I don’t think the hip ratchets look strong either. If it’s taken them four years to develop and get this to market it’s not a good sign. It’s a good effort but ultimately I think it’s failed. Difficult to see where GT go from here especially as with the exception of re-issues and different colour releases they haven’t produced anything new except for red bull. I don’t think they will last much longer in the current market for collectors IMO unfortunately

That shoulder joint is horrifying. It's going to hold the entire arm, and it's held on by two little pegs, and the entire piece is connected by only a thin, bendy strip of plastic.

It does have issues but my left shoulder ratchet is solid and holds well. Not the right though but it does hold just about. Foo fighter transformation is not great as i needed a screw driver, a scalpel and hope. I even had to take it apart as the steps on the cab were the wrong way round however the whole truley is greater than the sum of the parts and i love it. I forgive it all as defensor looks amazing in my opinion. Worth the wait.
It got the best outlook of the Defensor….. just the gun is too heavy for it to hold…

改めてガーディアンを見ましたが､旧商品よりもかなりビルドアップしてますね｡左腕のファーストエイド(=救急車)と左足のストリートワイズ(=パトカー)を組み替えることが出来るのかが疑問です｡
その構造によると…。 交換できるのは腕だけです（左腕から右腕へ）…..残りの部分は交換できません…。

Curious how it compares with other MP combiners. Thinking of picking up just for Defensor
Actually it can only work with TFC combiner, GT combiner,….. not fit with Zeta combiner scale

The damn thing looks good but seems to be as unstable as an ex after a bad breakup. Rachet joints seem pretty weak. What scares me the most is it seems to be using the feet as a knee joint. And we all know which part of a figure usually becomes loose really quickly. I just wished that you showed in the video when you tried standing him up. Anyway, great vid as always.

Not a fan of this Defensor. Looks too hokey to me. I don't like the chest plate at all. Individual bots look fantastic though. I think the Yes model oversize of Maketoys Defensor looks much better than this one.
I own the yes model and love it. But I like this more. It's closer to the G1 version but not too close to make it look like a good stand alone. The bots are better the vehicle modes are better and in combined its to me, better. But I get where you're coming from it's a great looking version I even bought another hotspot to mess with.
I think I'm going to get MMC.

Plastic looks way to cheap and weak other than that it's a good looking defensor

Decent look, but way to complicated transformation. Took forever with soooooo many movable parts. Ambulance was supposed to be the other leg, and car was his arm. And not much fan of that grill/bar with those high beams around his face. 6/10 for me.
I had him as a kid and it was my favorite, it’s correct. Everything is in its right place. You might want to look up the original toys.
Neil's right. I think you may be referring to the sixth vehicle, KB; he's used as extra leg parts/stability.
It's my mistake there's a fan art online if you Google Defensor images and it had the car as the arm, which I think would make more sense, the ambulance being more bulky makes a stronger leg
@@kbpinglia Even less sense is a motorcycle as a leg lol but then we're talking about G1 here so...sense was apparently overrated 🤣

I can say articulation is not strong in the current standard,,…… but the appearance is very good….. That I like ….. IDW style
