Thompson's crash was very violent. It was scary to see him get loaded into the stretcher. I was worried.
I was on Pit Road maybe 75 yards away, and just the sound. 😬

I live right next to Chicago but never even saw the race because I’m just so bored of modern nascar, was the Chicago street circuit a good race?

It’s worth noting that Mills (in Thompson’s Texas wreck) said that his brake pedal went to the floor which is visible by the fact that at a certain point his truck just stops turning on the replay

Turn 1 at Cota was abysmal to watch. Why race for a position when you can plow into them, spin them out, and have it happen to you next because it caused a caution?

What about WTF Crashes by decades? … of the 70s, 80s, 90s, etc..
I had a front row seat for two of these. The Armani Williams crash into the pits is on my channel. He crashed into our pit stall
I watched the race live, but just now noticed that Gragson's spin in the Wendy's car before pit road was in a turn full of McDonald's signs. As if the spin wasn't bad enough for him.

There are 2 surfaces that any nascar race unit should never race on. One is dirt and the other is any road coarse.
