I pray for their/ his recovery from alcohol. Hopefully the young man will feel his sense of worth, and know and feel that he is a worthy man. No one like, and no one but, an addict knows how low an opinion one has of themselves. Allah'u'Abha'
O our God! Help this beloved servant of God in these great moments of tribulation. May God help you in times of severe sufferings Charlie! Praise be to God! The reverberations of challenges are emotional distress. These distresses were turned into an opportunity to serve and bring unity, which you have done with so much sacrifice! All thanks be to God! The level of Patience & Forgiveness needed for such a bitter moment are indeed immense! All prosperity be to God! Turning away from enemy is helpful. But turning him into a brother is a true miracle of the Kingdom. All munificence be to God! Transforming a grievous calamity into a supreme victory can only be done through the pure channel that we must all strive towards and through the grace of God. All Glory be to God! Thank you for sharing so lovingly and generously your experience! This was a great emotional and spiritual insight for us all. Thank you Baha'i Blog! Yá Bahá'u'l-Abhá!❤
Thank you for showing what power radiates from the Baha'i sacred texts when we put the lesson into action. A great harmony of love moves within our very being.
Dear Charlie - So greatful to here your full story that I'd only heard bits of over the years. It is 40 years now since I left Vanuatu, but that time there is forever deep in my heart. Love, Bryn
Dear Apu @Charlie💗😇🙏By listening to Your story/message is very emotional🥺, touching, uplifting, and encouraging 🙏🙏🙏. You make an effort confidently with deep courage with a caring and loving heart full of kindness to forgive someone as the Holy Writing & the beautiful Song clearly mentions 😇🙏. Thanks for sharing Allah'u'Abha💗😇🙏🙏.. Loving Baha'I greetings from your families in Tanna. Our Prayers overed for you and the families from the Tanna Baha'i Temple. 🙏🙏🙏
I advise caution with imitation, there are really bad people out there who have no scruples at all, and these interpret leniency and forgiveness as weakness. I have experienced it myself several times, and can only warn.
It is the person we forgive, not the actions. We can never truly know what was causing them to act in that way. However, if we see the light of God in every person, we can help them to understand and deal with their remorse; even if they cannot consciously grasp the full dimensions of the act.
What a great example Charlie! Sorry to hear the suffering you went through! God bless you for sharing your amazing meaningful experiences!!!the song was so nice. 🙏🌿🌷💜🌷🙏

A very moving story but there are many many Christians who do the same. It depends on the person. Please stop making religious comparisons.
