As a father of 2 children I totally understand.. as they get older you'll find some more time and one thing I love about bike packing is all the planning. My advice is to set a goal, with enough lead time so you can put things in place for the trip to happen allowing for work and family etc.. even 1.5- 2 years out.
i pushed my bike from the start of the climb out of khancoban to tumut reserve before calling it quits with a snapped derailluer. thats when i pulled the pin
Top little video. I did the Hunt 500 and only took stills. Seeing the video is bringing some memories back. Thank you!
Well done Paul.. I hope they are good ones!
Loving it. As a dad of 2 young kids and full time worker, I'm living through your videos a bit! One day I'm going to get it done.

That decent looks magical.
It was apart form having to ride straight back up the other side.. epic country to ride through.
Amazing trip , some serious climbing day after day. My one word to describe it is INSPIRATIONAL!
Thanks Chris, The Hunt is a huge challenge, but so worth it!
Really enjoying the series, looks like it's tough work for an old fela and, yes I am an older fela.
It was tough.. but it’s all about giving yourself enough time.. and training for it. Thanks for watching!
Great video mate. Enjoying following along
Thanks for watching Ed!
Thanks, great videos, inspirational, probably sign up to Sydney to Summit
Awesome!! I'd love to do that one too!

I spent a lot of time pushing my bike too.. my bike limped all the way to Canberra.. leaking air, but it gave a reason to take a break.
Your mates wearing the loose fitting light coloured shirts would be more comfortable on warm/hot days
Love the vids mate. Any chance I could grab your gpx file for this ride?
Hmm not sure about sharing the gpx, it was part of the event created by Dan hunt. It’s all his hard work planning.
