  • We're cleaning up our fields before changing gears into a hay farm but maybe that might not be such a good idea?

I would definitely do both silage and the grain crops just to make sure you always have a source of income

I would pick them rocks and put grass down asap. Then in spring plant your corn for silage. Or still plant grass and plant as needed.

Great video. I say stay with the crops. Everyone does silage.

I also think you should do both silage and crops

Do both. Silage just makes things to easy. You need a side note, I always try to keep up on your videos but especially today you helped me get through a lloonngg night of being sick with the flu.

Defi have at least one for grain crops, but mostly go to silage, as silage in one year you will get triple the money, because you can get 3 to 4 cuts a year on it.

i do several fields of grains, and one big field for silage bales. Trying to find 2 crops that sell at opposite times of the year so money is coming in every 6mo. On my farm im trying to add 1 field of cotton to see how that adds to my "grain" rotation.

Do both, its always best to diversify. Never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket.

do doughnuts in the fields and tell the town to go pound sand. Be the next in the line of irresponsible farmers.
