Those national rankings miss a lot of good teams. North Carolina has 5 or 6 teams that should be in National top 50 but up until this year our teams haven’t played many national games..

A team could just be good for the area. I don't see why that Georgia team was rated so high, maybe they have some D1 players that just didn't flash. I'm not sure.
It made absolutely NO sense to go for 2 when Hughes scored to make it 30-27. Whoever made that call deserves a demotion to middle school ball. Just take the XP and then a FG wins it. Going for 2 changes nothing except if you dont make it -- a FG now only ties. That was a bush league call.
Langston got outplayed. Still a lot of football to played this season. Dropped picks and missed tackles is what hurt them. Also butler qb and wrs had a great night.
Turnovers are what hurt them. 4 of them, 1 was returned 80 yards for a TD, another INT inside their own 20, another fumble inside their own 5 and another while driving for the winning score. Letting Butler score going into halftime with 0 time left on the clock hurt also.

Hiding from Cali? Georgia play y’all top middles school teams every year and SMACK them (OG Ducks) etc and a lot of those kids from those teams play on Bosco and Dei. The high schools haven’t played our top high schools yet. So until y’all actually show some proof of actually beating us shut up. Your only going off of bs rankings. We have about 10 7a schools that can compete with Bosco and Mater Dei. Y’all don’t have 5 7a schools that can come and compete in Georgia’s highest classification, that’s the difference.
I can't describe how weird that team was. I mean I saw literally seven different tailbacks who all looked like five star athletes, on an offense that looked like an offset Wing T formation but with multiple wings and two backs in the backfield, heavy sets. Very confusing to watch much less play. And I played my fair share of teams like that. They were rotating backs like crazy and had a very physical, fast offensive line. They they would even have put points up on Mater Dei. But their defense, although it looks straight and was good enough to win states, Dei would have scored every single possession most likely. But it doesn't matter New Bern got that state championship revoked because they had hella players that were academically ineligible 🤣🤣🤣 them coaches said fuk it we going to run with it anyways.

It's different if they were caught recruiting, but no they had a few ambiguous vague unknowns who were academically ineligible. New Bern did not rely on one two or even three playrs to win. They were a unit and they were exceptionally well coached. Taking their state championship away makes me so mad. You get a coach who runs such an entertaining style of football in 2022 and just by looking at him you can tell he was projecting his energy onto his players. It shows, he himself was a model of success. I respected how New Bern carried themselves. They play with their pads not their mouth, they weren't cocky, they weren't arrogant they didn't even acknowledge the other team, they just showed up and said we are going to f****** win hell or high water. You can see it in their body language everything was communicated non-verbally and yet it was just as loud as if they had screamed it. Great team perhaps one of NC's best as of the past 20 years and I hate what happened. God knows how many schools out there that suck ass have been ineligible players and nobody gives a s*** about it, oh but that one school actually went to state championship and then you have to do a thorough ass investigation, nope if you do it for them do it for every single School in the entire state and then it dilutes everything, so they need a better system to filter this stuff out cuz the coaches have too much already on their plate.
