That’s a real nice and rare YJ. Looks to be very solid and probably original paint. I have owned my YJ for 2 years and running 2.5” suspension lift with 31” tires and 1.75” spacers. Rough Country is not expensive but not real good quality stuff. With Jeeps just about everything has been done in the past and if nobody is running this setup it’s likely because it does not work. You state you have enough clearance but need to drive and have suspension articúlate to really determine. Also that offset with additional spacers will over stress all the components in the suspension, axels and bearings. See you have a super cute little one tagging along. Make sure it’s safe. It’s your Jeep. Do what you want with it but know the value in YJ Saharas, is in stock Jeeps and yours appears to have been close to stock. Keep enjoying it!

It won’t be a daily driver due to it being a special vehicle and the set up is not ideal for daily driving! But I plan on keeping it simple and original besides the wheels and tires lol. I gota 89 yj with a chevy 406cid running a solid lift camshaft. Im removing the new lift , crawler fenders and going back to plain jane stock like in the sales brochure yj. Hidding a 480hp v8
I have. 95 yj and changed headlights to led and will be changing my side markers and signal lights to clear as well. Here in Maine we are not allowed to have wheels out that much unless we change the fenders to a wider one. 1” past fenders, anything more fails inspection.I had to take my spacers off due to the tire failing past my fenders 😢..Your jeep looks good and love the tires
Yes! I love the kee and clear markers! They are going to look so good! Man I hate that you can’t have wide tires! I live in Alabama and I’m so thankful we don’t have any serious vehicle restrictions!
How’s the Rough Country lift riding for you? I just installed the RC 2.5. It took me way longer than anticipated. I wasn’t dealing with rust for the most part. Mine rides much better. But my shocks were blown out and rear leaf springs shot. I also have much smaller tires cause it’s a 4 cylinder. I was running bigger tires but performance was unacceptable. Replaced my halogens with LEDs too. Amazing diff.
I like the rough country lift! It’s going to be a bouncy ride no matter what lol. I also noticed when I switched my tires to the nittos that my ride quality was much better then when I had the 31” bfg tires! Add me on facebook I’d love to see your jeep!

at first i really wanted to build a crawler but im so glad i kept all the original body parts !
