I've gotten a much better understanding of and appreciation for fuzz because of your videos. Thanks for writing parts that show off the versatility - this is probably my favorite fuzz pedal so far.
Great demo! If people want to hear another great use of fuzz, check out Ian Thornley of Big Wreck. He uses fuzz all the time and in an amazing way. Pete really did a fantastic job on this video (and all his others) in showing how cool fuzz can be.👍🏻

Hey Pete! I know that it is about fuzz, but I noticed you’re using a power station. I’m kind of torn between that and the Rock crusher! Also, I still go back and watch your Van Halen show with Mitch. Can’t get enough of that🤘
Around 2:20 the really squishy blurred rearview mirror distortion sounds just like my guitar jack plugged straight into a Panasonic cassette deck, I used when I was in college with no $$....oB
How do you manage to write absolute killer tunes every single time? Most of your demos sound like everything that is missing from modern rock music. Stuff that should be on the radio, instead of the garbage that gets put out these days. You must have written hundreds/thousands of really cool catchy riffs. Please tell me you're planning on putting them together as your own songs/instrumentals. I might be completely unaware of your musical output, so forgive me if you're already releasing your own stuff. And if you are, where can I buy it. Much respect anyhow, from England.
Check out his album called Guitar Nerd from 2011. It's sick! Pete Thorn II is great too. They should be available on most of the sites like iTunes, Google Play and streaming sites.
I ran this one in front of everything, I think it probably wants to be that way. Very responsive to guitar volume so I think it would probably not sound right with a buffer in front
I can't say enough about this pedal. IMO, it's a must have for fuzz guys. Very versatile.

What a killer intro! Had been researching this pedal but now I can get it with Pete's seal of approval :)
I love how well it cleans up with the volume knob rolled back. The overall tone is killer good too.
prolly the best fuzz pedal I ever heard/own.
Done it again dude , another brilliant track that is worthy of any album . Great demo Pete 👍
When it comes to guitar players demoing stuff you're the best player of all of them. I love the stuff you play! Thanks for putting it out here for us!
Thanks!
Chris buck would like a word
But yes pete is killer
@@dustinarnold79 Yes, Chris Buck is awesome. I think at that time I had not yet discovered him
It’s not just great playing…sweet notes dude.
Always best . You are a legend Pete
i just got mine in the mailbox today!
That intro jam...pretty awesome, Pete!
Sounds amazing. Just got a BC183 sunface. I figured the Bias knob was doing what the voltage knob on this does. Now i am back to confused!
Wow thick modern sounds and 60s fuzz. And you managed to combine them in one song!

I have a Mk.1 (BC183) and it's maybe the best fuzzface I own. SGFX are very clever clogs.
Their Spanish Castle dual fuzz is another good one.
Sounds awesome!!!!!!!!!!
QOTSA vibes at the intro!! Montréal for the win :)
Pete, have you ever done or thought about doing a "How to play guitar" series for beginners?

Awesome demo Pete, Great sounding pedal.
Awesome sounding Fuzz Pete that I might have to get!!

Jesus. Such a beast of a player. 🤘🏼🤯

The first time I've ever heard a fuzz pedal sound good. Awesome demonstration Pete, another demonstration on why you're one of the best!

Thank you so much! I have two albums out, on most of the major streaming platforms etc. Also available through iTunes Amazon etc.
@@PeteThorn OK cool. Thanks for the reply. I will have a listen.
The best fuzz! All the things without the quirks!
i love your guitar playing dude
Thank you so much!
Man it might just be!
I love fuzz+ od🔥
Sold
Great song. Had to keep replaying the intro.
Thanks!!!
I’m glad you dig it
Hey Pete, how does this box do behind other pedals? Haven't seen any mention of an input buffer like SGFX put on the Rosie. Great demo, as always!

I run mine after multiple pedals and it sounds fantastic. Have a buffer before and after it too. One of my favorite fuzz pedals and so versatile
I like a fuzz where it’s on the boarder line - is that a fuzz can’t tell
Sorry, slightly cliche question to anyone who has this - is it capable of the Comfortably Numb solo thing?
Great video as always Pete, thanks!
Great demo as alway Pete!
Does the Strat react the same way you did in a previous video where the fuzz and guitar becomes one circuit?
Cheers!
Yes correct that’s part of the roll down thing on this one, Cleans right up
This pedal needs a separate bass and treble control like the Walrus Enos pedal.
Bodacious!
Cool, can I get in a smiley face enclosure? :-)
is this guitar pedal the best? i don’t know, maybe. are we a failed species? i don’t know, maybe. does a Pete Thorn video make me happy? yes.
Anyone know how this compares to the Spanish Castle pedal?
Sounds good after buffered pedals or should be placed first in chain?
One of the thorniest examples of your guitar playing universe conquerng genius in recent times.
There is that silver superstrat again. It looks and sounds awesome. If I wish to purchase it, where can I find it? Or is it a custom?
All the news is coming Thursday!
@@PeteThorn thanks, Pete!
Sounds cool Pete.
Whats the difference between the mk1 & mk2 ??
More adjustable parameters like the voltage, body switch etc.
@@PeteThorn Ok, thanks. I was looking at a mk1 recently, glad I saw this, I will go for the mk2 instead.
If 6 was 9 then 5 would be 2. Like, duh.
