Why do you need to pray for them? Shouldn't God just do the good and right thing naturally?
Maybe he uses our loved ones as hostages? Believe in me and pray to me, or else... Yeah, sounds like a real swell guy! Yikes.

These things suck. It could be worse, there be shingle and tree damage and no power during the worst heat ever, after they pass. Living in Florida, I've a gone over a month w/o power when these dam things pass. I hope that's the worst of it, if you have go through it. Stay positive, like all things it will pass.

@@stevenmorrison4692 Lucky you, I lived in the West Palm Area all my life. Lilly(I think that was her name), Francis, Jeanne, Wilma and Irma to name the ones I remember, left millions living like sweating pigs. In 2004, we had close two months w/o power, curfews, sheriff helicopters very night, generator noise, gas shortages, traffic lights out and accident, general shortages and lines for basic stuff that went on forever. Even people open carrying, my cousin was a cop and they allowed it because things could've gotten out of hand.
Some of this has been remedied, but don't kid yourself about living here, sooner or later--no matter where-- you'll have to deal with it, and I wish it on no one.
If you are any where near where Charly went through, you most likely have an upgraded grid and new housing, but still the Gulf storms are stronger and intensify faster then the Cape Verde ones.
      Lucky you.
Hopefully, we reached the end of the 40/40.
