Chandler's a 155 lb Chad Mendes: a freak athlete with an incredible skillset, who should be champ, but who just happens to get clipped and rocked/finished when it matters most. I think he has mental lapses and just makes mistakes at bad times, which is unfortunate

Honestly, the UFC needed Chandler. Chandler is one of the biggest stars right now. There is nobody in the UFC at the moment that can speak on the microphone. Chandler is the single best speaker in the UFC right now. The current title holders in the UFC are absolutely atroicious on the Microphone. In other news, imagine if Gaethje wins a title, and talks trash to Conor. It could turn into a Khabib vs. Conor level fight, with 2.5 million buys.
For sure, my man has an excellent vocabulary for someone who regularly sustains head trauma. Not what I expected from him the first time I heard him speak. A great addition to the org, as well as the division.

I firmly believe Michael 'TEDTalk' Chandler is my new favorite fighter. Every time there's a camera on him, he's always saying something uber inspirational. Chandler: When you Come out to the hard dark world that is our world you have to overcome the darkness and see the light at the end of that tunnel, you need to see the sunlight peaking out of the room filled with darkness. That light will fill you with the gratidute and hunger you need to keep fighting every single day, the way you step out of the bed and look yourself in the mirror saying, I will be the best and I will fight for the opportunity god has given to me. Fighting is just like life you need to fight for every minute and you need to bleed for the opportunitys presented for you.

If Chandler focuses more on fight IQ and actually winning the fight instead of putting on a show for the fans, he could be champion, I'm serious. That fight with Gaethje, he just wanted to turn that into a brawl. He could've very well just saved his gas tank, pick his shots, but he decided to walk in, hands low, to give the crowd a show which I really don't understand...
There's a way it makes sense. Had he put on less of a show and still lost, no one would want to see him get a rematch. But now, like he said, the fans would love to see him fight either main eventer. I think he's just taking a bit of a safer play in terms of ensuring he gets opportunities

I don't think he threw that fight because of bad fight IQ or anything. He was just outmatched against Justin. Pretty much all he could do later on in the fight was to make it a brawl and hope to land KO punch.

Chandler: I have been in dark times, with no light, and found my own light, I realised when there is darkness there has to be light, as the sun sets, I become my own light, which we all have. I have been trying to get better at being my own darkness, i mean light. however it's the yin and yang of the balance, the darkness needs light, and light needs darkness. When life throws you lemons, you can peel those lemons and make raw vegan lemon cakes.
Super coincidental that just before I watched this video, I was listening to the "Direct Heat Exposure" episode on the Huberman Lab podcast while wishing I had a personal sauna in my home lol. Chandler is living the life!
