@OliveTheBullTerrier they are definitely like children. I have 2 grandpuppies that I take on hikes and they just smile the whole way. The momma is a Norwegian hound and her son is part pitbull. Biggest babies ever and so smart. They definitely find squirrel, raccoons, deer, etc to chase along the way. You definitely have to take the time to spend good quality time with them. It's definitely rewarding.
