@@sj460162 Yes it is fun to walk out there, but dangerous and there are channels around it that can be tricky, and of course when the tide comes in,it comes in very fast, which is what caught the Cocklers. The cockle beds were badly damaged by the pickers,they were stripped bare and have never re-opened.

Yes,they died there,it is completely covered at high tide.
