The IE200 is smoother and better for beginners to get in audiophile world. The IE200 makes me even more to appreciate the tuning of the IE600 (and also maybe a little little bit of the IE900) and shows to me how good the IE600 is. But the IE600 needs time, that was my experience based on Tempotec V6 3.5 out with Dunu S&S tips and Qobuz app.
I agree it's much smoother, but unfortunately for its asking price, it's a little underwhelming as to what it can offer for $150 (240AUD). Just take for example, the truthear HOLA which is about $20, also has a very smooth presentation and it's a great introduction to the world of audiophiles, as the IE200 intended to be. Of course the IE200 is only slightly better than the HOLA but its in a very competitive categoryy
Ie200 eartips sucks You should using Spinfit CP240 or Smallest size if original (silicone) I ve tried cp 100 + and it sucks loss so much bass If you get proper eartips and seal Their ugly nozzle You will feel the rumble and everything feel quite good But i think if can add extra bucks abit Tang Zu Wu Zetian HBB Much Better than this Build Quality (not durability) Cables Aesthetic Waifu Downside both have UGLY eartips
@@matrixmodulatorlike most good quality headsets, you need to use them for some time before you really begin to appreciate the details in the music. Of course you also need to have the right ear tips placed precisely in your ear canals. I would go as far as to say that your recordings and equalization of the musical instruments are also something to consider… The masses will not go that far in order to appreciate their music and devices and that is why we rely on what people say when they review products such as these Senns which are good for their price range but not the best. However, what you pay for what you get. I have been listening to music on headsets since 1981 ( Sony Walkman and the headphones were never something we considered worthy of a challenge and I have spent a fortune on headsets for various reasons. My experience has taught me that you need to burn the headsets in to get optimum sound over time and I have also learned that not all headsets are good for all genres of music. Monster ( or Beats by Dre if you like ) headphones were created out of a need to satisfy genres such as Hip Hop, Rap, Reggae and bass orientated music. Clever marketing did the rest! Sennheisers probably cover the widest spectrum ( frequency response versus db versus ohm and THD ) compared to most and that is why I have used their high end headgear over the years along with other brands.
The IE 200s are the first pair of IEM's I've purchased and I agree with everything said while hooked up to my Audiengine DAC3. I do however enjoy the critiques BUT I feel like I need to hear what the IE 600's sound like. It's killing me.
I am really wondering if it’s better to invest in a better headphone than my AKG K712 Pro or going for an IEM. The ie600 was in my list, but I would really to know if it’s going to sound really better than my headphones AKG K712 Pro. But I also have several KZ IEM like the ZS10 Pro X that sounds really good… could it be the ie600 much better?
Hard to say because some people can hear the difference more while others don't pick up the differences, my advice is always go to a nearby audio store if you have one to test it out first. Otherwise then check out the many reviews on the IE600 but from personal experience it is better in a way of sharper and clearer details coming through but with the ie600 it can sound a little sharp and piercing if you're treble sensitive
The ie600 sounds better all round than the ie200. More detail, depth, emotional engagement. And beats every other IEM I have (and is built to last). I'm using uncompressed lossless with a variety or sources (inc A&K se180baks lg v60). DACs include Chord Mojo 2 and Onix Alpha.
@@rnarexperience ibises some Spinfit tips and that made a big difference. Also, the chord mojo 2 (and Onix Alpha) took the ie600 into a whole new league.
I tried the IE200 at a store, I ts *alright* at best imo. $150 USD is on the high side for how this performs in comparison to what chifi has been giving us. I think it would be better if it were $30 USD less
@@happychristian1389 I personally wouldnt still. The chifi scene has gotten even better since this IEM dropped. For the same price I would personally get the Simgot Supermix 4
I have the IE200 and enjoy it, but I also have the Letshouer S12, which is about the same price and, in my opinion, much better. The S12 is more resolving, has better treble extension, and excellent bass.
I believe that is unfortunately the point I highlighted as well where IE200 is in a very competitive price category especially when you're including the chifi scene

IE600 is world apart form almost every IEM under 1.500 usd especially when you pair them with good DAC/AMP
Have you tried the EJ07M?
IE600 vs planar iem?
Um, no.

Love my S12. I have much more expensive IEMs, but S12 gets a lot of listening time.

Sennheiser should make a tremble refined version of ie 600 and cheaper too.If not china will eat them alive
They did lol the ie200… like literally the ie200.
@R.C.Bullar i don t think that it's the same driver tec inside
IE600 is better, no contest
Not so sure about that
IE 200 sound lean light harsh even bass is not full not worth it.
