I have been expecting Reznov to return to the storyline of call of duty over a decade.
This game can’t come out soon enough.
I’m honestly more excited for the campaign and hope that it’s a longer one this go around especially with 4 years of dev time where they probably knew where they wanted to take this from the beginning

Remember that The Truth Lies and Alex Mason will come back as a surprise or an EE reference but for now let's presume he is dead even if i know Treyarch could trick us. The timeline revealed to us, there is no BO2 2025 or BO Declassified which is interesting.
Edit: Since BO3 is canon, we know that Menendez was killed by David Mason trying to escape with US Uniform with BO 3 Terminal safehouse base. I always enjoy your vids Jon ;)

That’s true. The entire marketing theme is “The Truth Lies”. So we can’t really trust what they say. But it’s best to stay cautious.

It's really just the magazine that makes it look modern. Everything else is really fine, but the magazine is a PMAG which was made in around 2007.

I am most curios about timing in the campaign. This campaign will take place only during the gulf war in 1991s or we might to see different 90s as well? I'm asking this because in mw3 zombies one cut scene with doctor Gray take place in 1996, but this not all: In official gameplay trailer we can see George W. Bush speaking about USSR fall and this speech was recorded in 26 december 1991 and also footage with Clinton, which was recorded in January 1993. And the most interesting thing: In open your eyes teaser this footage with Clinton (3:25) was recorded in November 1995.

I already pre-ordered my game even though it comes out a while from but idc about that I got all the woods skins I run 🏃🏾 the Woods Zombie 🧟♂️ Skin In MWZ that skin is dope asf , I kept it simple & got the cross gen version 69.99$ after tax it’s 74.19$ I got 100 and something days until we actually play it 😢 lol I get to play the beta early though & I cannot waittttt shout out to the RUclipsrs that got invited out to TreyArch & played it early nothing but great reviews from it that I’m hearing I can’t wait for it. Can someone (preferably someone who knows about game dev) explain, why would they use an image of Nuketown 2025 as a placeholder? Wouldn’t it make more sense for them to use an image of CW Nuketown as a placeholder? Unless maybe they want to make this one Nuketown 2025 themed just with grittier textures and 1990s cars.

Probably not a placeholder. This new company ATAA is working on advanced technology, they are probably also creating nuketown 2025. Which would explain why it looks futuristic but at the same time old school. If you know what I mean. So my guess is, that we will in fact see blacknops 2025 in multiplayer

They aren’t allowed to tho… not really a big deal
The only reason why they don’t, is because they can easily get sued by using the whole name. That’s why some guns have half of the name.

What if the developers told us that Mason is dead so they don't spoil what happens in the real story! Just hear me out.
In the Mason lives ending (true ending), Woods thought Mason was dead for 30 years and that was the main point of his point of view until he physically saw Mason alive in the end. So it would make sense that Woods still believes that Mason is dead and developers want to continue that to keep the story true.
I can be 100 percent wrong but it is a possibility
