I do see a lot of you saying this car sounds bad. I think it sounds good, though it may not sound like a regular and healthy 4-rotor. It is a twin exhaust, so I think that may be why. It's twin turbo, so it kinda makes a lot more sense in this case imo. Awesome driver and awesome car!
Mad Mike's MX-5 ''Madbul'' and the RX-7 ''Humbul'' are/were both twin turbo 4 rotors and sounded very similar. Doesn't sound bad, just very different from a single turbo or N/A 4 rotor with equal length exhaust manifolds.
Look how short his drifts are because of how much grip those tires have. Crazy. That's the scary thing with pro drift cars: how scarily twitchy-grippy they are and how much they want to be going forwards in spite of all the camber and toe. They have to compromise between retaining grip and the basic aim to lose traction because of the insane power they need to put down, the speed of transitions, etc. so there has to be this unholy balance between two opposing forces, one sticking the car to the road like glue, the other making it go sideways.
From my perspective it just looked incredibly constrained and struggled to even go straight let alone sideways on that track. It wants to go fast and in control while sideways for sure. Awesome care regardless.
@@Xeil It's just not built for driving in anything but a horizontal position, that's why it looked so uncomfortable on that small, straight section of track. It's 1100hp that's basically focused entirely on making the car move sideways, it's just not natural lol. ...I like to imagine someone who doesn't know anything about cars watching the pro drifters' machines at Goodwood - I'm pretty sure they'd think the cars were just broken, and on the verge of exploding, because they drive along the track twitching and shaking like they're just on the verge of spinning out, they let off a constant stream of really loud backfires like something important has just exploded and you can barely see them for the smoke billowing everywhere. A normal person would probably call the fire brigade if they saw one driving like that down their local street.
What The track is just way too narrow, that's why his manjis are extremely short and aggressive. He can't make them much longer with the amount of speed you can get there. Not really the grip of the tyre doing that particularly.
@@robzu1010 The amount of grip competition cars in Assetto have means the transitions are much more aggressive and snappy than in normal drift cars. You can see it in the reduced travel between transitions and how fast they snap back. WDTS/BDC/etc. cars won't do that. With them you can leave the rear hanging for an age before transitioning.
@@Xeil It's just that people buy RX7s and take the rotary out because they don't want to deal with those problems. Like, if you didn't want those engine problems, why buy the car?? The whole point of the RX7 or 8 is the dorito power. Now we end up with LS and SBC swapped FC and FDs 🙄.
Liberty Walk, S15, Twin Turbo, 4 Rotor. These 4 words together in one sentence is something I didn’t expect to hear! It’s like the old video of the crazy kid saying he’s got a Lamborghini exhaust on his Golf 😂
Thank you very much.😁👍
あなたにお会いできて光栄です。
Hibino you are one of my favourite driver, since Toyota AE days.
Imagine all the people living life in peace. thank you for supporting Ukraine

荒々しい走り…! 最高‼︎
Dude's energy was unmatched, full send all the way up and down lord march's driveway
That car sounds like a 80's DTM racer. Crispy and wonderful.
I like the sound. Its different from mostly any rotary you usually hear. Unique is where its at and this car is super cool all round.
It's basically close to mad mike rx7 but different headers.
The reason is that instead of having 1 muffler, the S15 has 2 mufflers

The car sounds like an angry bee wanting to fight - in a good way.
tbf rob dahm’s car has ruined every other car sound for me
Yep, literally sounds like 2 13bs, probably not even an x pipe.
It sounds like it's got an unequal length exhaust like s subaru. Put true equal length headers on a suby and it sounds like every other 4 banger.

I love how most of the livery this year was a throwback to the 70s 80s and 90s.
This Silvia's widebody is also a nod to Japan's Super Silhouette era cars as well
I've never seen a car looks so comletly out of control but at the same time completly in control.
One of the best chassis and one of the best engine in one machine ...... Simply amazing ☺️
One of the best looking bodykit too
I bought a 1:64 model of this car a few days ago without knowing much about it… and now I’m amazed 😱😀
Hot Wheels?😊
Facts bro sounds great in real life 🔥🔥 didn't know she was a beast in real life
One thing i appreciate is the Super Silhouette bodykit and the amount of balls that he does here
Pure energy + madness + skills + chassis + engine = tofu delivery 😅😅
that gotta be the most unique sounds 4 rotor out there
Der hatte einfach Spaß und hat einfach alles gegeben was er und das Auto konnte. Und ging dabei über alle Grenzen hinaus. Einfach Geil 👍🏻
this guy is a pure g, bro just straight up tore the track, knocked some obstacles, and even ruining his rear bumper 😭
Awesome driver skills! This engine sound is amazing!
rofl he's wrecking his car
@@33ordie that ish finna be overheated from all that

That first run is easily one of my favorite Goodwood runs.
Absolute chaos sounds brutal and i love it👌🏻🧡

Shots fired! Thank you Sir 🔥🔥🔥
I'd like to say that when he showed us the engine I was blown away but it looked like a transmission.
Quite small isn’t it

This track is way too narrow especially for a car this powerful.

I've watched this car live while living in Japan. It's wilder in person
I am a proud owner of the hotwheels version of this bad boy 🥳.
I'm not normally a drift guy, but I can't get enough of this car.
Such amazing car control!
Seeing those flags together made me smile ear to ear 🇯🇵🇬🇧
True!!!
The sound is reaching zeus and he is confused about the roar of his thunder and this beast
Rotaries literally end up in every car but RX7s
It honestly makes me sad, Mazda put so much work into Rotaries.
Because RX7's are more expensive than the motor's. A 13b and trans isn't that expensive compared to the entire car or other classic jdm engines.

the guy running with the flags :D hero
Now THAT'S the precision of how drifting used to be.....and should be. Pre cis ion. No "nothing but crazy angle" and no room for error.

I love how it sounds like a cannon blasting through there
