    Check the back door. It may not be closed right. It's a safety thing.

      Wasn’t the issue on this one, but it does have an interlock system , good job 👍🏻

    Maybe pay attention to the sticker that said it has a starter interlock device on the dashboard. Start there, or do what the starter interlock requires so it will start

    I had a Dart buse like that one time and they pinched the starter wire when they put a transmission in keep on dividing the circuit to find the problem 😊

    Technically your first test gave you 2/3rds of the answer. I’m sure it was to help teach. But very confusing for people that don’t understand DC.

      I’ll try harder next time

      @@whoeverwhatever9279 technically his tests proved he didn’t understand how DC voltage worked. Put the clamp on 12v feed. Ground it. Test light illuminates.why ground the clamp and then touch what you just used as a 12v feed to check ground? Your first test showed you had voltage and a good ground. Why double down. You proved my first comment. If you do not understand how 12v DC works. The second test would confuse you. Since the first test proves both tests.

    you call the 12 v that kicks the solenoid a signal wire? i mean… same difference but we just call it 12v

      @SmoggyAlastor 5 месяцев назад

      The signal is how you would jump the starter in a pinch

    • @Mechaniclyfe
      @Mechaniclyfe  5 месяцев назад

      Well yeah same difference really , just an ignition power 12v

      For sure , but I also want to diagnose why it’s not working , how to fix it and what to look for for people who don’t know where to start

      Don’t need to on this bus, some busses don’t have a park gear it’s only neutral

      I bought a bus with a 7.3 so I have a spare once mine is done in 40 years. Their will be no more 7.3 engines in the future but I plan on keeping one as long as possible
