Sonny learns that the grand jury has come back with a verdict. Sonny arrives and tells Luke he's a free man. Lily shows up and they talk. Mike wonders about what is going on with Lily & Sonny and Sonny's not guilty verdict. Sonny and Lily plan their wedding. (Sonny thinks to himself, trying to convince himself that he can get over Brenda, then says to himself that he loves Brenda) while Lily goes on and on about wedding arrangements. Lily thinks to herself that Sonny's not in love with her but says she has enough love for the both of them. Sonny announces to Luke and Mike that he's engaged to Lily. Brenda walks in and sees Sonny and Lily sitting there. Mike and Luke walk over and tell Brenda that the grand jury let him go. Sonny kisses Lily right in front of Brenda. Brenda sees Sonny's toast. Sonny walks out with Lily right in front of Brenda. Brenda is stunned.
Sonny takes Lily to his penthouse and they talk.

I don't like how cold Sonny was to Brenda. Lily is more than pathetic to want a man who is in love with another woman. Sonny's heart will always belongs to Brenda and no one else. The kind of love they share never dies.

Thank you so much for putting all this together! I have watched GH for 25 years...I started because of Brenda and Sonny! But I never saw 1994 or all of 1995 and wow! They are incredible! This took a lot of work and I love it! I'm hooked every night watching this instead of the current GH! LOL! Bring back B and S!

I hate how he so calm with lily telling a story but when it was brenda its like she was bothering him, pressuring him, doing outbursts. It's ok tho she broke down walls for these other chicks including lily to have a decent conversations with him.

It makes me sick the way Sonny treated Brenda! It's funny when I watched this 25 years ago I didn't see this way! He got what deserved he didn't deserve Brenda! He's so cold!!!

You are so right!!!! He didn’t want to hurt Brenda at all! He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. He already stated to Brenda that he could never have done time. ‘The Cell Is Too Damn Small’. Sonny does not LOVE Brenda. No man who loves a woman could be so deliberately brutal to them especially after going to them and telling about their forever love for them. I now wish Brenda had stayed with Jax and build a family of thier own. Whether Lily had lived or die he never would have loved her really and his arse would forever be seeing Brenda happy with another man and her family. I now wish that it how GH played this out. He treated Lily with way more respect and honour and Brenda is the one who saved his life.

Brenda could have NEVER been happy with J** when her heart belonged to Sonny. Sonny's love was REAL and RAW! If by respect and honor you mean never loving her and always thinking about Brenda then I guess. Brenda taught Sonny how to love, may not be how you like but he LOVES her.

Well his actions SCREAMED, I NEITHER LIKE NOR LOVE BRENDA. You cannot love someone and INTENTIONALLY inflict such pain and humiliation on them even when not necessary. He loved his own damn self. Sonny is very much SELFISH, he was wrong for going to her and not telling her what's popping off. Love shouldn't have to hurt, but Sonny doesn't know how to deal with his heart and emotions. Sonny pushing Brenda away is his way of protecting himself and his heart. You act as if he personally invite Brenda to LUKE'S to watch him with Ol Pumkin Head. We can't tell him how he should love or let go. He just made a deal with with the DEVIL that's on him not Brenda. What he is doing with L**L** is ALL ACTION being nice, treating her well, making promises all while his heart is with another woman. That's not love! LOVE comes in ALL forms, words, feelings, trust, honesty, actions etc......you can't BOX love. Not sure what you expect Sonny to do here. Tell everyone in LUKE'S he loves Brenda but has to marry L**L** for power. Everyone KNOWS who Sonny loves and that's Brenda.

Sonny wound up Not playing that role very well when it came to Lily because Rivera figured out that Sonny was in love with Brenda and tried to have Brenda killed and Lily of all people wound up saving Brenda's life by pushing her out of the way of the car

He told Brenda 1994 about Deke she asked him about the scar on his back. Sonny told Brenda, Deke beat him up and his mother and mom was sent to the hospital.

+NeishaLuvsGH truthful I don't really believe Vanessa wanted to live again because she return for both the fans and to work with Maurice, but these writers from the start was trying to apply Sonny/Brenda was not right for each other. They failed to realize both Vanessa and Maurice created Sonny/Brenda and will always be true to their characters. This is why Young and Restless stays on top because they stay true to their characters. If only ABC get a clue
