@@richardmetalfan94 maybe I'm wrong but I think most fans of bad wolves don't know his resume. I met him a few times in the mid 2000s, he was always a nice guy. Super intimidating but once you start talking to him he was so chill.
I saw TAS in 2005 when they still had 3 guitars and DL in the band, blew me away I've been a fan ever since. Seeing them TONIGHT with Despised Icon and Dying Fetus and this shit is gonna go down!!!
Grew up with Kevin, hes from my home town. Naugatuck, CT. What a good fkn dude. The only kid to make it out of our town and make something of themself.
Vin's mom, and all moms who are "blessed" with a teen aged kid in a band that holds practice in the basement (more to the point 'shows' in this case) are of some divine saintly order... one that my own mother certainly did not belong to. Ffs can you imagine the hours of offensive noise just radiating from the floor at a high to moderate decibel level she endured before it turned into something that was eventually able to afford her periods of peace when they started doing gigs on the road. And from the looks of it I bet she did it with grace and a smile... a mom like that is a badass thing to have growing up
Nicholas Vanzwol *I WENT TO AN ACACIA STRAIN SHOW AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS BROKEN FUCKING NOSE* was on a shirt they sold that was was just white with blood on it
Vincent’s mom is amazing and so supportive she let them have the window’s open and the air condition on! But she knew her son’s band was going to make it and that they did they are one of my favorites.
In 2013, The Acacia Strain played a show in my hometown, this was going to be the first time my gf and I watched them live! By their third song we were both convinced that this band was summoning hell and fire!! My gf and I literally had to step out of the venue to recover from the literal fear and dread from their live show. Damn.
About five years ago I spent over $300 on Todd McFarlane Spawn toys from the 90s. They were the edgiest thing when I was a kid and I finally got to buy them. You're not alone Vincent.
Wow... Ogre sure did stress alot. Ill always live with the fond memory of my band opening for these dudes and Shadows Fall at the first Holiday Hangover at Pearl St. I was 15 years old. Watching from sodestage, I saw Brian Fair step off and pick out bellybutton lint. Continued to rock!
They came and stayed in my neighborhood with my friend Bobby Twice after two different shows. I couldn’t have them stay st my parents and Bobby’s weren’t ever home so we had them come there twice once when they were on th up and up and the second time was after they hit it big. It was great times to say the least because that was the house everyone went to party and hangout and it was a huge two story house so we got a lot of hooligans in there.
I saw them again last night he came down off stage and talked to all the fans after the show. I got to meet him. Seemed really nice and interested in what I had to say.
I love the current line up of TAS, but I wish this 'classic' lineup would reunite someday for a show. It's my understanding DL and Vincent have not reportedly not talked in about a decade, so I don't think it's going to ever happen.
I feel like I am obligated to come back to this every couple years and watch. Still one of my favourite docu-pieces for a metal band, and now a days its extra enjoyable because it's got that old "home movie" type of look. I love all that The Acacia Strain has become and I've been a long time fan, they are one of the reasons why I got into heavier music. Their newest albums, Step Into the Light and Failure Will Follow are good, but it always kills me that people love to say that The Acacia Strain fans can't shut the f*ck up about Wormwood. While Wormwood is good, its still only number 2 for me, my favourite album by them I think will always be Death Is the Only Mortal. Also, positivity is f*cking losers! lmao
I wish more parents were this supportive, pretty sweet.
2021 and they're still killing it
5:27 "she used to go... you know camping..." LMAO
Sweet yo, My moms gone for the weekend guys rock on!!
One of my fav bands. That New England metal is no joke.
Truth
They all came from the hardcore scene too pretty much every band from New England
DL we all miss you
Damn right
Absolutely!!
And now he's in Bad Wolves lol
@@tydunn5400 had no idea he can sing. He's an amazing singer.

This is why you let your kids explore and be creative.
When a vocalist throws water at the crowd and yells "Booo!!!"...

“Stress from the acacia strain has made this man lose massive amounts of weight”
Kills me every time
He actually went on a keto diet and decided to live a more healthy life style
Eloy Herrera that’s awesome if no troll

CT babyyyy, A Thousand Falling Skies, Blood Has Been Shed and 100 Demons

@@mattpaulpalm4013 Waves is a rad album! The song titles are clevor
They have stood the test of time
nothing beats coma witch
When life is a bit hard, I watch this and it gets better instantly
TAS pits are insane. First show I actually really injured myself at a show. Pulled my arm out of socket.
I had my nose broken, still fucked up to this day
Nicholas Vanzwol *I WENT TO AN ACACIA STRAIN SHOW AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS BROKEN FUCKING NOSE* was on a shirt they sold that was was just white with blood on it
It's so weird seeing Vincent without his neck tattoos man
bringthisin and thinning hair
Vincent’s mom is amazing and so supportive she let them have the window’s open and the air condition on! But she knew her son’s band was going to make it and that they did they are one of my favorites.
Playing with them in Indianapolis at the Emerson theater around 2006 was dope. Those were the best years of my life.

No band sounds like the acacia strain. No lyrics equal.
this is probably the best band video ever
Seen them live. Loved it

This is a THROWBACK
I'll always love TAS, but man I miss Jack and DL!
We need a second autobiography
I always see this band when
they tour to Minnesota 😎
"she used to go camping.. whatever."
This is too awesome.

He was spot on with the Nike SB collection. He could sell it and become very wealthy.
4:41 thats got to be Adam D!!!!
adam d produced the dead walk
Yeah it is, and Toby Dutkiewicz is Adam's brother.
The brothers were also in Aftershock together.
GuitarmanAvL i thought so, i knew i recognized that name
man... vincent and freaking dl are my heroes!

Just discovered this band thanks to Hate5six and their sound and grooves blew me away. Cool to see they have been around so long!
That's what's up brother, Hate5six put me on to to so many good bands the channel is a blessing to this earth fr
17:17 lol that description made my day
Vince has a “Ryan Reynolds” vibe to him and I love it
Heaviest Band of all time imo. Nothing but pure heavy for 20 fucking years. Going hard at almost 50 than most dudes go in their 20s
I actually tried to say hey to Vincent once.
Dude didn't even look at me and kept walking.
Wasn't even butthurt tho,
Cause I expected it 😭
was this in the albany area?
+Oh Delvalley - Maybe he had to go take a massive shit?
Vincent is the nicest dude I know, messages me all the time
Oh Delvalley I’ve bumped into him a couple times. Nice dude. Must have just not heard you or something. Definitely doesnt sound like him
I saw them again last night he came down off stage and talked to all the fans after the show. I got to meet him. Seemed really nice and interested in what I had to say.
Looking at Vincent’s SBs he could 100% sell those sneakers and buy a house.
I hope Vince held on to those Nikes man. As with everything with this band, ahead of his time.
Miss Fat Cats. Was a great venue.
Ayy!!! It's Winston! (18:50)
I love the current line up of TAS, but I wish this 'classic' lineup would reunite someday for a show. It's my understanding DL and Vincent have not reportedly not talked in about a decade, so I don't think it's going to ever happen.
Damn, that's a bummer, where'd you hear that?
Long live The Acacia Strain
I hope they do one of these next year for the band's 20th Anniversary.
YEAH WINSTON!
give that mom a goddamn award!
best.mom.ever.
Here from 2019
I miss this line up of the acacia strain

I want Vincent to voice a character in my shows when I make them. A 6ft tall rampaging interdimensional clown
Wow the acacia strain were in high school I love hardcore
The birth of the Acacia Strain Diet meme.
Kevin is always talking shit and I love it
22:03 he literally hit the griddy
Is that not Eric wareheim?
r.i.p. this lineup
Rip when DL was guitarist. Wish I got to see them with DL
They gotta make a new one for this year
Anyone have footage from those basement shows?
lmfao vincent is the best frontman
Kevin boutit was in a thousand falling skies an insanely underrated metalcore band from early 2000s
I'm glad no one has said Vincent is the dj Khalid of metal
It was pretty normal, then he taught a bunch of random kids how to headband, then I woke up and wished one of my teachers could be Vincent
Vincent was a nerdo for sure. haha not what I expected.
24:57 YOLO.
TOBI!!!!!
Vincent sure was a lot thinner back then
@20:03 @22:55
Vinciance mom looks and acts like my mom kinda WTF! Vincent need to open up a store! I think he got a calling

18:12 Lmao
I had a dream last night that Vincent was one of my teachers.
Vincent looks so fucking handsome... (✽ ゚д゚ ✽)
Shoe Dragon
I have those same MF Doom SBs haha.
I remember that, I was in an HxC band in the mid 2000's and it was a sick time. Everyone sucks now.
Old school Devin Townsend will always be the most in your face 'fuck you' vocalist. But acacia is bad ass!
lmfaooooo 10:40
