gen tech21 there are lots of advanced vehicles at same price available in international market.
They just change the exterior look of the vehicle. Engines have almost the same power as any ordinary Truck and
I can gurantee an old man from 70s designed it. It looks nothing like vehicles that are being designed in other countries like Israel,US, Russia,UK or China.
Indian designers are no better than North Koreans.

Yes it won't give 100% garuntee of crew safety like an APC or BMP but atleast we wouldn't lose all 40+ soldier like this. Yes we will lose some soldiers but rather have more injured then death, minimising some casualties. And yes what you see in this advertisement most of features are not completely revealed or modified for security reasons. This trucks are mainly used for transportation of soldiers 'on duty' rather than 'off duty' which is bit sad.

Automatic Transmission involves complicated electronics, no good for battle fields. Power-train should be fully mechanical with minimum number of nuts and bolts. This is already a great design and have a lot of potential in future developments. I would personally like to autonomous weapons in this.

      Mr. Engineer!
      1) Bigger tyres dont help with the centre of gravity, wider tyres do.
      2) Rollover? Do you have any idea how many tests these vehicles go through, before the design is finalised? REAL engineers design it.
3)Automatic? Tells me you are a joke! These truck drivers need extreme control over the acceleration of the vehicle at all times, manuals give you the power to shift down when you like for higher RPMs, unlike automatic transmissions. You want automatics? Lets just have Honda CVTs as our military vehicles.

There is a slight change if you can consider, you can also half cover the tiers for better mobility, as I am very small to give you suggestion by its in my mind, because the side body is little extended so you can easily attach 4 BP Plates for its all 4 sides.

Now militants could throw a gas grenade on the ac vent on top of the vehicle and smoke out our Indian Soldiers and harm them. Thanks to you for not keeping such vital informations classified.😡😡😡😡

Agreed a very excellent step towards indigenisation.... Since it is not for intense conflict like conventional war but for low intensity conflict like fighting insurgency....so it is as per the requirements of RR, Cobra and other counter insurgency unit..... Every thing has some drawbracks.... It is after use its potential is understood.... But it is a extraordinary step towards indigenisation.... Hope that its induction will not get delayed by the blood sucker bureaucracy...
