I’m transitioning my range tank to doing more PVM. I want to max the account. Aside from attack and strength. For raids, I assume we are both in a similar situation where melee cannot be relied on. Can all of the bosses in raids be killed efficiently with just range and mage? Or are there a lot of bosses in PVM content that hard require melee
In TOA, melee is required for the Akkha orb phase since he's immune to the other two styles. For wardens, only melee is guaranteed to max hit on the core EXCEPT for the accursed scepter so you can mage it with that. In TOB, you do have to melee bloat to do any significant dps, and for nylos, do sfrz or rdps so you don't have to melee the gray nylos. The other bosses can be tbowed/shadowed. In COX, you have to melee guardians and olm's hand.
@@0X01 Ok! So as a tank I have 75 att/str so I can technically still use melee on defensive mode. Are all of those situations ones where I’d still be able to make it work without being utterly miserable? What about DT2 bosses etc.?
@@0X01 interesting, ok. I guess since I do have piety and can get good strength switches, plus the weapons at 75 attack are stronger, that could make sense. Thanks brother

What about DT2 bosses etc.?
@@xxFairestxx you will be fine on all of them, meleeing with your stats is still more dps than meleeing with my stats
