@@TaylorMade26 do you have to pay the out state tuition fee as soon as you commit to famu and if so what were some of your ways to get the money like the scholarships you applied for or what you did in general
Great video and helpful tips, the best video so far. Everyone else talks about everything but the school and busy looking at themselves, playing with hair and make up. Great job!
Do you think i could get in if i have a 3.5476 gpa weighted and a 3.3571 unweighted. I also got a 1045 on my sat first try, i never got to resist it because of corona. Also i did good all my years in high school with pre ap and ap classes but due to mental health issues my junior year i slipped up. What are my chances of getting in, please help me i’m scared 😭😭😭
You GPA is at a point, make sure you have a good resume I suggest having someone look over it for you as well as make sure you have strong letters of recommendations from teachers or administrators that know you well. You will more than likely be accepted and also have the chance to get scholarships! Don't be scared you're in a good place!
I have a question I’m from Hawaii! If would they like have someone pick me up at the airport or do I have to find my own way there with all of my boxes and bags 😫
There's a lot of factors, so I'm assuming you'll be coming from out of state. The tuition base is $549.50 per credit hour, so if you're starting summer term most likely you will have between 3-9 credit hours. The most important part is determining that first, next is the dorm and meal plan. My freshman year it definitely was the most expensive year because I lived on campus and had the highest meal plan. It will be close to 15k I think that is what I paid. The next thing will be university insurance that's something I needed because I couldn't use my insurance from before so that was an extra 1,000 a semester for me. Finally, famu adds a bunch of extra fees and that's really how they make their money. There's really no way to determine the amount for the fees. Since I have moved off campus and don't have a meal plan I'm paying about 7k a semester.
Planning to go to famu next fall and im from California so thanks for this

@@TaylorMade26 thank you❗️
If you don’t mind me asking how are you eligible to afford?
How much is the tuition per year?
Out of state tuition is $30-35000.00 depending on the amount of class hours you take.
