Marcel Breuer’s Forest House (Hooper House II)

Located in Baltimore county of Maryland, architects Marcel Breuer and Herbert beckhard were commissioned by philanthropist Edith Hooper. This was the second design from the architect in collaboration with hoopers residency.
Hooper house 2 was built to function as an idyllic, quiet retreat that would still enjoy nearby access to the city. In addition to singular details inside the house, the House is a long, low house that supports a fantastic indoor to outdoor connection. Simple forms add to the natural flow between spaces.
