Worship is a good habit to submit to and gets us through trials and changes the atmosphere. When the glory is upon us, we can begin the process of becoming more like Him. The glory touches others around us and overrides our senses and reasoning, so that we don't make an idol of our feelings. A by product of worship is that it keeps us near to God and makes the Journey beautiful. The world has it backwards. It seeks instant gratification, instant success, instant money, instant influence that don't satisfy. It's a bottomless pit. If we conscientiously worship, we stay aware that these hands and these feet can't help but spread joy and love to others-in the here and now-which is connected to our purpose. John 17:13
Thank goodness for the series on Seasons that was preached that we can draw from. I never heard a complete sermon on Seasons before or a sermon about Jesus being the Mediator, besides for salvation. They still have to marinate in me, cos they are deep. But, I believe it and accept it as Truth.
Amen that we have a Heavenly Father who has anointed Pastors, anointed the Word and for the Holy Spirit-Who convicts, consoles and counsels and knows what to do with that Word when we submit and for Jesus, the Mediator-Whose Work I am depending on supernatural Rhema Words to reveal to me. When God gives a word of knowledge, word of wisdom or a prophetic Word on healing, it becomes the Rhema that is filled with Spirit and life. The Rhema Word has within it, the spiritual seed that releases faith, life and power. Its fulfilment is accomplished through the operation of the Holy Spirit and Jesus the Mediator who uses The Word given by God to deliver to us. We catch it in our spirit, which is stronger than our brain or feelings. A Rhema word is a deep revelation given through His Word that is prophetic to our spirit and personal. The gifts of the Spirit operate through The Rhema Word from the written Word which is prompted and given by The Holy Spirit and directed-(administrated) by Jesus the Mediator from God. Jesus reaches into our circumstances by arranging the delivery of His sufficiency. Jesus is the Living Word of God.
