    I find it incredibly interesting that everyone is talking about Keir Starmer's freebies, which were all within parliamentary rules, yet nobody mentions Robert Jenrick's £75,000 donation from an insolvent company with no employees that came from the Cayman Islands.

    • @orchestralmockups
      @orchestralmockups Месяц назад +10

      No. What's interesting is that Starmer can say that someone on £13k doesn't need £200 to help with winter fuel but he, a millionaire (on £160K+) needs £120k help for clothing (his wife too), glasses, a property for his son to revise for his GCSEs etc etc etc. And by the way, Labour got a £4million pound donation from a hedge fund in the ............Cayman Islands

    I'm growing more and more irritated by the clumsiness and arrogance of this bunch. I accepted the logic of the cuts to the fuel allowance. But Jesus, Starmer can't keep insisting on telling "working people" to buckle-up because it's going to be a bumpy ride whilst donors are making his supremely cush. He can't warn "working people" that we'll have to go without whilst he goes with MORE. How can they not get this? Starmer's the son of a tool maker, so he can get his flipping glasses at some BOGOF joint like the rest of us "working people." His mother worked for the NHS, as does his wife, who can find a nice high street dress like every working woman does. It's called cutting back. Living within our means. Why did Starmer even put her in the position of wearing borrowed clothes, for the love of Mike? I don't get it. I don't know if Labour is having a bad case of nouveau riche run amok or if it's just brazen entitlement. My guess is amateur hour. Electoral politics is very different from governing. Whatever the diagnosis, Starmer and his cabinet have lost the plot. Bridget Philips and her flipping business birthday party. Jesus. These people. I feel as if I wasted a vote.
