The students today have a rough time in affording high cost for text books of higher education and the text books are the big part of that. Open education removes the roadblocks of textbook cost from higher education.

The video discusses well the importance of open educational resources. OERs are freely available to everyone which definitely helps the students that are unable to afford the cost of high-priced textbooks for higher education.
